Omni-Rupter Automated Switching Systems offer cost-
effective reliable source transfer for your overhead distri-
bution system.
These innovative systems are available with your
choice of either the S&C Micro-AT® Source-Transfer Con-
trol or EnergyLine Model 5802 Automatic Switch Control.

Upright Configuration

Automated Omni-Rupter Switches


are offered in the Upright, Upright
(Extra Mounting Pole Clearance),
and Tiered-Outboard Mounting Con-
figurations. Models are furnished
with S&C Cypoxy® Insulators.
These switches are capable of
opening and closing under ³⁄₈-inch
ice formation, and have a mechani-
cal-operations test value of 2000

Automated Omni-Rupter Switches
are normally operated under auto-
matic source-transfer control. They
can also be operated manually from
their control units, illustrated on
pages 3 and 5.
