Purpose:
Description of the problems and difficulties in diagnosing the convoluted oral lesions. Case report: A 48-year-old woman complained of painful damage to her left side tongue for three weeks, accompanied by numbness causing eating difficulties. There were sharp 37 and 38 teeth. The clinical feature of the ulcer was similar to the OSCC
makingitdifficulttoestablishthediagnosis. Founded by thetheseclinicalfindings, the patient was diagnosed as a traumatic ulcer and a differentiated diagnosis with the OSCC. The patient was treated with topical corticosteroid, vitamin B12, folic acid and removal of sharp teeth. Conclusions: Careful history and recognition of clinical outcomes are the key to
establishing a diagnosis appropriately in order to provide proper treatment. 1.Cole EC, Cook CE.
