SWOT Analysis of Ice-Cream Chefs

Strengths:

 Newly established company will produce quality product with good taste.
 Back up by the entire current and fixed assets of the project
 Wide variety of unique ice cream and dessert flavors.
 We will introduce such products which no one sees before like we will have
pizza ice cream, gol gappa ice cream, ice cream roll etc.
 Competitive pricing
 Varieties of products
 We introduce different and innovative products of ice cream with tempting
toppings such as caramel, nuts, bounties, marshmallow etc.
 We will have different growth stages that we will cover and extend our
project time by time.
 Eating in groups will become easy. We will use healthy ingredients in
making our products.
 Legal business will be a plus point.
Weaknesses:

 Newly established company having less market is a biggest weakness.


 Difficulties in penetrating to a new market
 Tough Competition in the market from international and the national ice
cream products.
 Size of the market is limited as the supply of the product is limited in some
places
 Pay High advertisement and promotional costs with low budget
 Seasonal Sales of the product is also a weak point.
 General problem faced by ice cream products like load shedding problem,
damage return and untimely delivery to retailers or order booking
customers.
 Credit facilities is not secured by land and building.
Opportunities:

 The consumption of ice cream and frozen dessert is increasing in Malls,


hotels, restaurant, parties and in other occasions. As the our business plan
is catering quality products with good taste in reasonable price there is high
demand of product and in our business has good opportunities to grow in
the future.
 Advertise product through commercials on television in which we use
Wateen cable, through banners and by giving brochures to people. We will
also advertise our products on social media like Facebook page of Ice-
Cream Chefs and by giving gifts to people like color books and toys to kids.
 Our plan is to expand our business in other cities as well after success in
Lahore.
 Business environment is slowly but surely regaining its lost glory as there is
less number of harmful incidents.
 We will target families, Students, Children, Informal and Formal groups.
 Rising income, change life style in party culture
 Large young population and very hot summer is golden time.
 High economic growth and market liberalization
 Growing ice cream market
Threats:

 There is a threat of competitors from the local shops like Cosa Nostra,
Chaudairy Ice Cream, Men’s Cakery, Jay Bee’s Ice Cream, Robbiya, Jaidi Pan
Shop, Chaman and CVC Con all are the local brands working in Lahore and
all are our domestic Competitors and doing well business. The international
Competitors includes Walls, Omore, Hico and Ben and Jerry’s.
 Other threat is prolonged transitions in country.
 The Uncertain economic situation and labor union is also consider as threat
in the country.
 The main threat in the country which cost to an ice cream business is load
shedding. Which is adversely affected the business environment of the
country.
 Low income Population and threat of infrastructure
 Economical and regulatory changes
 The substitutes will also be a threat for our business.
