Two Were Left by Hugh B. Cave
A dog’s love for its master prevails no matter what the situation is.
Noni –the boy, Nimuk –the dog , The pilot
Noni did not pursue his plan. Each struggled. Noni lay unconscious but alive.
Nimuk whined feebly. The pilot of a plane descended on the iceberg to rescue the
two.
Noni and Nimuk were marooned on the ice.
It had been 3 days. The two were very hungry. Both were watchful of each one’s
moves as they tried to make do to have any of them to survive. Noni had the
improvised knife.
