    The Government of Andhra Pradesh issued an order (1) fixing cement rates from March 2020 onwards for all engineering departments, (2) The cement rates for Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC 43/53 grade) was set at Rs.184/- per bag and Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) was set at Rs.176/- per bag, both rates including freight charges after deducting 28% GST, (3) All heads of departments, corporations, universities, and agencies dealing with public works were directed to take action accordingly based on concurrence from the state's Finance Department.

    ORDER:

    In the circumstances reported by the Engineer-in-Chief(IW)Water Resources


    Dept, in his letter 6th read above, Government hereby approve the Cement
    rates from the Month of March-2020 onwards as detailed in the table below:
    From 1st March 2020 onwards

    Sl. Cement Rates as finalized from the month of March


    No. 2020 onwards

    1 Cement Rates including freight charges – per bag.


    (after deducting GST component of 28%)

    A Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC 43/53 grade) Rs.184/-

    B Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) Rs.176/-

    2) All the Heads of Departments/Corporations, Universities, Agencies dealing


    with PWD works shall take action accordingly.

    3) This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Dept, vide their U.O.NoFIN01-
    17023/10/2016-TR&B , Dt:12.10.2020.
