    INTRODUCTION
    Online Banking System is an Internet Banking service project
    where customer can access banking services via internet. The
    Online Banking System project is a project that performs various
    tasks like Loan Automation, Customer Relationship Management,
    Banking, Insurance etc and also offers different online services
    like check account status, cheque book request, fund transfer,
    deposit and withdrawal in account. Nowadays banks are also
    offering various payment services to their customers for shopping
    in different online stores.

    Modules of Online Banking System


    Main modules of online banking project are as follows:

    Account opening
    Verifying Account
    Customer login
    Forgot pin
    Fund transfer
    Transaction History
    Account Details.

    Purpose of Online/Internet
    Banking System

    This project enables customers to access their account online and


    perform banking operation such as account statement, fund
    transfer, deposit etc. The main aim to create Online Banking
    System is to create a secure online banking system for safe
    banking transaction. Customer can access his account 24×7 from
    anywhere. Customer can make fund transfer to another account in
    the same bank. Customer can see monthly statement. The
    graphical user interface of this online application is kept very
    simple and easy to understand keeping in view of customers need
    and easiness.
    With internet or online banking or net-banking, customers can
    transfer funds to another bank account, check account balance,
    view bank statements, pay utility bills, and much more.
    This electronic banking system enables customers to perform
    financial and non-financial transactions via mobile phone. Most
    of the banks have launched their mobile banking applications
    available on Google Play store and Apple App Store. Just like the
    net-banking portal, customers can use the mobile application to
    access banking services.

    OBJECTIVE

    Easy retrieval of data: This system uses SQL database so data


    can be easily and quickly accessed using sql commands.
    Security: This system provides very strong security. Every
    customer has unique user id and password. No one can access
    account without knowing correct password.
    Large memory space: This system can store a large number of
    customer records. System does not slowdown in data processing.
    Easy interface: GUI of the application is kept very simple. Any
    customer having very little knowledge of operating windows
    based system can operate this application very easily without any
    help.

    The main objective of the Project on Online Banking System is to


    manage the details of Bank, Account, Balance, Customer,
    Transaction. It manages all the information about Bank,
    Transaction, Bank. The project is totally built at user end and thus
    only that user is guaranteed the access. The purpose of the
    project is to build an application program to reduce the manual
    work for managing the Bank, Account, Balance. It tracks all the
    details about the Balance, Customer, Transaction.

    CONCLUSION
    The mobile and wireless market has been one of the fastest
    growing markets in the world. The arrival of technology and the
    escalating use of mobile and smart phone devices, has given the
    banking industry a new platform. Connecting a customer anytime
    and anywhere to their money and needs is a must have service
    that has become an unstoppable necessity.

    This worldwide communication is leading a new generation of


    strong banking relationships. The banking world can achieve
    superior interactions with their public base if they accommodate
    all their customer needs. They have a unique challenge to keep
    their customer alliances and keeping up with the new
    technologies, and competitive strategies that other banks also
    have to offer the public.

    Conveniences of services plus outside locations like ATMS are


    crucial to every banks success. Meeting all challenges including
    safety and security are perfect examples of good banking
    strategies. In order for the financial institutions to effectively grow
    they must embrace the new technologies and customize them to
    suit their economic success and the public’s success.

    Online banking is certainly here to stay. Online banking is a


    necessity for the bank's that we studied and others in order for
    them to stay in business. While its existence doesn't necessary
    give them a competitive edge because it is so common place, it is
    truly a cost of doing business.

    As a tool of modern living and as a lifestyle aid, it is absolutely
    indispensable. The fact is that many services that are now being
    offered with online banking are almost impossible to do
    conveniently with regular banking. As we venture into the future,
    the internet will undoubtedly continue to change the banking
    industry.
