Read How People Have Adapted To Live in A Dry Desert Enviroment

The document summarizes how people have adapted to live in hot desert environments like the Sahara Desert. It describes their clothing as long, loose robes that cover the whole body and head to protect from heat and blowing sand. Their shelters are made from stone, mud, clay or grasses. Farming is only possible near oases or river valleys that provide water, and there is much competition for this scarce resource between people, animals and plants in the desert.
