Interim Inspection Report: Final Inspection of Structures

1. An interim inspection report was issued for the final inspection and release for shipment of several storage tanks constructed by AIC Steel in Asfan, KSA for the MMGP-KSA project. 2. Issues were found with the tanks including missing name plates, hammering marks, scaffolding material inside tanks, and incomplete or unbalanced painting. All issues required rectification by AIC Steel before shipping. 3. Photographic evidence was attached showing painting and coating deficiencies on the external and internal surfaces of the tanks. AIC Steel was instructed to repair all deficiencies and submit the tanks for re-inspection.

 Contact area Painting shall be done as per approved Paint scheme.
 DFT of offered items was found satisfactory.
 Contact area to be rectified before dispatch.
 AIC to submit the batch certificates against every new lot of the paint.
AIC to submit pull off test (dolly test) reports.
