I am a healthcare professional associated over 15 years in Healthcare Facilities Quality, Patient
Safety and Risk management, leading committees and accreditation teams in Egypt &KSA

After graduation in 1983 as oral surgeon, I worked in several Hospital in Egypt and in 2004 I
participated in WHO project on the spreading of infectious diseases in Egyptian dental clinics where I
had extensive hand-on healthcare management experience I then made a decision to expand
horizons and looked to work hard in the field of healthcare quality management where I had
Diploma in Leadership development in International healthcare WHO Fellowship LDH in 2004, then,
Diploma in Total Quality Management TQM from American University in Cairo in 2006 and along this
period I worked in the field of HealthCare Quality improvement and as a surveyor in accreditation of
MOH primary Healthcare Units and then Traveled to Saudi Arabia in2011 to Directorate of health
affair –TAIF to work as patient safety officer , There 2011 I passed CPHQ and 2017 I passed CPPS,
I am currently responsible of Patient Safety program, preparation of Hospitals for accreditation&
Compliance to the requirements of KSA National ESR program .

In the way towards promotion in my skills I got many other studies in the field of Health care
quality management, Healthcare information systems, use of statistical packages in PC like SPSS ,
and management of medical records , training courses in the field of accreditation techniques JCI
,CBAHI standards, ISO 9000 QS , Patient safety and Risk management
