Am actuarial student at Karatina University who is greatly interested in pursuing IFoA

Examinations.
My long term goal is to become an actuary. This has however been a challenge due to the financial
hardships in my family. In the past I only managed to complete my high school education through
Harambee (fundraising). In the university, am a HELB ( High Education Loan Board) beneficiary since I
would not manage to pay for my fees.

Given this grant I will manage to sit for the for the Actuarial Exams which has always been my greatest
dream. I promise to work hard and give it my best try.
