Executive Summary

Glamified Makeup is a Bangladesh-based cosmetics company. Our goal is to create and

distribute cosmetics that have never been tested on animals at any point of production, from
packaging to ingredients to the final product. We want our customers to feel beautiful and
exclusive, and our product line will reflect this. Our devotion to animals and appreciation of
beauty from the inside out was also reflected in the tag. Despite the fact that we are a young
company in an established market, we feel we are unique in our advocacy of humane standards
and our desire to serve people of all generations. Anyone who wears makeup, particularly
women, is our target market. Our demand will be further segmented into 25-40-year-olds. We'll
start with this business because we believe it'll be a good place to start. We recognize that this
demand is broad, so we intend to stratify our marketing strategy to address the younger
demographic (25-30), as well as separate ads for the 30-40 year old demographic. We'll have a
variety of lines to appeal to multiple personalities, generations, and motives. Understanding
women's interests, as well as the use of color, packaging, and high-quality fabrics, would help
them accomplish this goal. We will use Halal goods and will never use any types of alcohol in
our materials, which is mostly for Muslim people.  We'll also have beauty demonstrations at
these locations to demonstrate how stunning you can look by being compassionate. We'll also
collaborate with high-end salons in the area who have established trusting relationships with
their customers. The aim is to send a makeup artist over every now and then to show the product
and implementation techniques. Women may also order this service, and we can give small
samples to salon staff and clients so that they can see the product before purchasing it and spread
the word.
Initial Start-up timeline
1. Legal Procedures:
Glamified has always been keen on building a better legal foothold for the company when it
comes to setting up both its online and brick-and-mortar shop operations. Potential regulatory
frameworks and clauses for required documents are analyzed, reviewed, and incorporated into
legal paperwork chains for business adoption and launch. In order to obtain go-ahead clearances,
the corporation has submitted an application for Glamified's uniqueness for online authentication
to the Deputy Register of the Joint Stock by email, with an expected response time of one week
or less and a cost of. BDT100 is a Bangladeshi currency. From 2011 onwards, an adhesive stamp
charge under the Provision of Pay order in lieu of stamp (in compliance with the Modes of
Payment Act 1974) must be charged to the Treasury's designated bank accounts for further
application.
2. Getting all necessary licenses and permits:
Glamified had to pay about BDT25000 to a specified Treasury account dependent on the
company's accepted capital in order to apply for the Memorandum of Association and Articles of
Association for which the company had applied. MOA and AOA were sent, along with name
clearance card, forms I, VI, IX, X, and XII, proof of payment for Treasury Stamps (i.e. receipt
from the designated bank), and tax identity number (for resident subscribers). Soon after, the
firm applied for a company seal and tax authority registration with the National Board of
Revenue (NBRDeputy )'s Commission of Taxes of Company Circle, Zonal Taxation
Department) for free, with an average clearance time of 9-12 days. Glamified is reported
separately with the Customs, Excise, and VAT Commission for VAT purposes (under the NBR).
The final step was to apply for a Trade License with Dhaka North City Corporation, for which
we submitted a certified copy of Glamified's articles and memorandum of association, a copy of
the certificate of incorporation, a copy of the bank solvency declaration, TIN certificate,
warehouse 39 and office rent agreement, and NID copy of the individual in charge of corporate
operations. Within one week to ten days, it will be approved.
3. Finding office and storehouse:
When looking for an office and a storage facility, the Glamified research team posted a social
media advertisement for a 3000 square foot office room in the Gulshan, Banani, Uttara, and
Bashundhara areas of Dhaka. The venue was chosen for optimum media attention as well as the
ability of the operation to keep its stores open on Fridays, Saturdays, and other public holidays.

4. Research and development:

The research and product development team is collaborating with direct customers to generate
and design new orders as well as change current orders to meet expected demand. Such work is
then combined with the works and experts’ recommendations of dedicated customers and
suppliers. The primary product development stage also constitutes some research on the
country’s past choices and trends and for recent trends, we work to improve the quality at a
lower cost by which every customer can get the best quality. We also maintain previous choices
of products for the older generation who are familiar with it. Instagram and Facebook polls are
used for the secondary study. Women in their mid-18s to late 50s are specifically targeted in this
situation. With their choice for our brands on the internet, we attempted to provide a younger
range while maintaining the tradition.
5. Purchase or lease Equipment:
The warehouse owner provides all of the materials, including chairs, fans, and air conditioning.
Computers and office supplies are ordered brand new from a nearby electronics store. There are
no supplies leased as part of any operation. The office and warehouse are available for rent at
20000 BDT a month with a month's notice.
6. Hiring of personnel:
We will hire the administration staff for maintaining the business and explore the brand image.
There will several departments such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Administration,
and Operation and so on. They will work for the company and increase the effectiveness of the
company. The company will promote the products to attract customers and the workers will
work to make the customers happy.
7. Purchase of material:
Since Glamified is a makeup company that’s why we need some natural materials which are
really good for the skin and also Halal. So, we need some types of machinery by which the
makeups can easily make and our researchers can also invent new types of variation with it.
8. Start date for marketing activities:
Facebook ads and YouTube ad raising will be done 6 months a year, with alternate months
gapped, as expected for promotional campaigns. Both print media ads will appear on Thursdays
and Fridays for the next 40 weeks. The celebrity endorsement will be done on a quarterly basis.
All other promotional campaigns, including the ones listed above, will begin in January 2021 and
will run according to the marketing team's instructions.
9. Opening date for business:
Since all of the required paperwork is supposed to be completed by the end of May, the company
will open on June 1st, 2021.
