Why Givers Give? Givers Give Because:
 God has given so much to them.
2 Corinthians 8:9 (NIV) — 9 For you know
the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that
though he was rich, yet for your sakes he
became poor, so that you through his poverty
might become rich.
Givers Give Because:
 They want to be more like Jesus.
 Philippians 2:6–7 (NIV) — 6 Who, being
in very nature God, did not consider equality
with God something to be grasped, 7 but
made himself nothing, taking the very nature
of a servant, being made in human likeness.
Givers Give Because:
 They know God wants us to give
 1 Timothy 6:17–19 (NIV) — 17 Command those
who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant
nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain,
but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us
with everything for our enjoyment. 18 Command
them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be
generous and willing to share. 19 In this way they
will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm
foundation for the coming age, so that they may take
hold of the life that is truly life.
