Legacy modernization projects:
• TOEFL legacy migration Project (End to End). Lead Developer
Spearheaded and developed software for modernizing one of the largest international higher education testing
program TOEFL. The migration project rewrote the entire TOEFL Mainframe programs in C++ and converted
data from IDMS, VSAM and IMS databases to Oracle database.
• PCI Certification Project (End to End). Architect and Lead Developer
Introduced GT software Ivory Architect to handle and isolate PCI data processing in Mainframe. The project
eliminated PCI information from the Mainframe and modernized the Credit Card processing through an external
interface. All the PCI related processes are migrated from Mainframe to distributed environment.
• Scoring Key Module (SKM) migration project (End To End). Lead architect Developer.
The Mainframe based test and item scoring modules rewritten in Java. All test and item scoring related processes
are migrated to the new platform.
• NJ MVC MATRX project (Halted). Chief Architect.
MATRX project is a multiyear multimillion investment to rewrite NJ MVC legacy system on a Java platform.
The project was built on Java based development platform using IBM technology stack and Oracle backend
database. Heavily used Informatica Mainframe integration tools and CDC for data synchronization.
• CDLIS Modernization (End to End). Technology Strategist, Delivery Manger and Chief Architect
A mission critical project for the State of NJ to implement CDLIS protocol meeting federal standards and
homeland security requirements. The project was originally estimated 2 and a half years and had to complete in
8 months. Completed the project 3 weeks before 8 months. Built several microservices off of the Mainframe
batch and online programs and data services.
• NJ MVC Transformation Project (End to End – Technology Strategist, Delivery & portfolio Manager and Chief
Architect
The Transformation project was designed to avoid project failure and build distributed system with multiple
progressive cycle. The project converted COBOL, Assembler and CA Datacom DB to Java and .NET platform
with Oracle OLTP Backend Database. The transformation project is required to fast track adding business value
while keeping core services in Mainframe and migrate those core services over the time without distracting
business operations. Used several technologies such as GT Software Ivory Architect, GT Datahub, BizTalk HIS
Adapter, CA server ODBC Adapter, FTPS, SFTP adapter, CA Security integration adapter, Oracle Engineered
DB Exadata, In Memory data-grid Coherence etc. to enable faster delivery and balance Mainframe performance.
Used Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Selenium, dynaTrace and its Mainframe agent to monitor, implement

NJ MVC: Chief Enterprise Architect (Strategy, Technology, Applications and Development)
Rapidly learned and accustomed to New Jersey state working culture, procurement processes and introduced tactical
approaches to improve overall operational efficiency of IT department. Directed new product development and
