Work immersion refers to the section of the Senior High School (SHS) Curriculum consisting of eighty
hours of hands-on trip or work simulation which the grades 11and 12 students will bear to expose them to
the real place of job putting and to enrich the potential furnished with the aid of the school below the
supervision of the college head and the special personnel of the partner. Meanwhile, work immersion is
fairly similar in internship or on-the-job training done with the aid of college students. They have things
in common like letting students endure and trip actual works in a particular workplace. On the other hand,
they range in some masses and wide variety of hours they will consume. Therefore, most of the following
research discusses about the on-the-job training.
Student corporations may additionally be bolstered its feature to encourage students’ participation in
taking the lead of planning, organizing, directing and imposing the applications of the department.
Students can also continually be prompted to join curricular and extra-curricular activities in particular in
educational contests to make them more competitive and assured of their skills. Giving gaining
knowledge of possibilities to college students helps them to enlarge their knowledge, domesticate their
capabilities and find out new abilities and skills (Britiller et al., 2014).
In addition, the response to the tutorial challenges of countrywide and international significance, higher
schooling machine needs to focus on systemic reform to fortify and make more aggressive their output
and services (Buted, Felicen & Manzano, 2014). The college can also continue to enforce the
outcomes-based education to further beef up the capability of the students to compete with the graduates
of ASEAN member countries. Most universities in the use are already assignment some of the
instructional practices involved in OBE. What they without a doubt want now is suitable documentation
of evidences of assessments and contrast on the effectiveness of the program academic objectives which
will prove that the graduates are absolutely equipped with essential knowledge, values (behavior) and
skills that can make a contributions to the improvement of the community (Laguador and Dotong, 2014).
Based on Yllagan, (2013) education is a prepared process of for increasing the information and abilities of
people for doing a precise job. It’s a learning procedure involving the acquisition of skills and attitudes.

Students’ Experience during Online Work Immersion.

According to the Babson Survey Research Group report, Allen and Seaman (2013) mentioned that “when
this record sequence began in 2002, less than one-half of all greater schooling establishments stated on
line schooling used to be critical to their long-term strategy. That quantity is now shut to seventy
percent”. Tracing the amplify in country wide postsecondary online training enrollment figures, the U.S.
Department of Education cited that the total quantity of student enrolled in on line education rose from
4.28 million in 2007 to 5.44 million in 2012 (National Center for Education Statistics,2011, 2014).
In an online mastering environment, college students are anticipated to take a more active strategy to their
education, and path effects rely closely on students’ attitudes closer to online learning (Neely &
Tucker, 2012). Student trainees are very an awful lot relaxed with the software mainly on the elements
pertaining to personality and appearance, work habit, work mindset and competence. Still as the
pronouncing goes “experience is the fantastic teacher” and nothing compares to the knowledge that it can
give these students.
Likewise, training is an ongoing and continuous procedure meet and adapt changes effectively and
quickly. It’s an strive to enhance present day and future performance by using increasing an employees’
ability to perform thru learning, typically with the aid of altering and their mindset or increasing his skills
and knowledge (Verma, 2012). Byars & Rue, (2014) found that coaching is a studying manner that
includes acquisition of skills, concepts, policies or attitudes to beautify the overall performance of
employees. Generally, the new employees, manager has the important accountability for job training, on
occasion this is delegated to senior employee in the department. Initial training can have substantial effect
on the employee’s productivity and attitudes towards the job.
The growth in online education has heightened competition among postsecondary institutions. With that
competition has come increasing emphasis on attending to student satisfaction (Jackson, Jones, &
Rodriguez, 2012). Found that distance learning students are attracted by the convenience and flexibility of
online courses.
