1) “Workforce diversity is no more considered to be a challenge but it is considered as an


opportunity for modern business”
Several challenges that can arise with diverse workforce:
 Communication issues
 Too many opinions
 Hostility
 Retain bad talent
 Diversity implementation challenge

*Solution for these challenges are:

 Agree on a common language and an appropriate workplace discourse to avoid


miscommunication.
 Encourage your employees to ask for clarification if they are unsure about what
they’re being asked to do. Better to clarify matters at the outset then rectify faults
later.
 Elect a committee of high-performing executives who will hear every opinion and
make the final decision themselves. 
 Hiring managers need to be able to recognise the signs of hostility. Diversity
training for employees can also help to educate them and mitigate any bias.
 Arrange diversity training so that employees can learn about the benefits and how
to respect their colleagues.
 It’s counterproductive to hold onto employees who are unable to do their job
effectively

1. * The Employee’s behavior at work often depends on how they feel about being there.
*Therefore, making sense of how people behave depends on understanding their work
attitudes.
* An attitude refers to our opinions, beliefs, and feelings about aspects of our environment.
*We have attitudes toward the food we eat, people we interact with, courses we take, and
various other things.
* At work, two particular job attitudes have the greatest potential to influence how we
behave.
*These are job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Job satisfaction refers to the
feelings people have toward their job.
* If the number of studies conducted on job satisfaction is an indicator, job satisfaction is
probably the most important job attitude.
* For many employees, a dream job is one that isn’t a nightmare.
* Organizational commitment is the emotional attachment people have toward the company
they work for.
* Companies believe that these attitudes are worth tracking because they are often
associated with important outcomes such as performance, helping others, absenteeism, and
turnover.
