Introduction
Ethical standards are the ones that guide businesses in forming business
ethics. Ethical practice is building trust by role-modeling ethical behavior, and
applying principles and values consistently in decision-making (The People
Profession,2021). Inside the company, there should always be a policy or
practices that is need to instill to their members in order to have healthy
environment. Some articles says that there are several ways companies do to
solve unethical behavior happening inside their company. As a result to that,
Brookins (2019) in their study of “Ways to Prevent Unethical Behavior in the
Workplace”, concludes that creating a code of conduct, lead by example, and
show employees appreciation are just few that the company should take into
consideration in order to work with unethical behavior. In order, therefore to
achieve the proper handling of unethical behavior, Mayhew (2019) in her
article “How to Handle Ethical Issues in the Workplace”, stated that morality
and values are really the thing that is hard to handle most especially inside
the company but they pushed the legal process and slightly strict guidelines
that could help to prevent or handle this kind of situation.
Other studies also provides description and widen the idea of unethical
behavior and their plans to cope up with this. According to Emery et. al,
(2016), they presented the plans and initiatives in solving unethical behavior
by having pre-determined role, objective principle and policy which will help to
avoid toxic relationship inside the company.
Description
The research paper seeks to achieve its general objective of Initiatives and
Plans of in Solving Unethical Practices in Business Field by focusing to its
specific objectives:
*To know if the business does have initiatives when it comes to solving
unethical problems inside the company.
*To know if there are plans that the business trying to make for the betterment
of their business.
*To assess if the business are ready to face the consequences when
neglecting the ethical standards.
*To determine if the business codes are helpful in the company and if could be
a guide for other company.
