Full-time university students need to spend a lot of time studying. Some people
think it is essential for university students to be involved in other activities.
Discuss both views and your opinion.

Whether the entire time of university should be devoted to study by students or

students need to participate regularly in extracurricular activities has been an
extensively debated issue since years ago. From my perspective, both of these
views have arguments for and against and this essay will discuss these
viewpoints as well as my position.

On the one hand, it is an unquestionable fact that there are a range of

contributing factors supporting that it is necessary for students to spend their
whole university experience studying. First of all, undergraduates are more
worried about their future and take their education seriously. In other words ,
priority is given to alumni of famous universities and business schools over those
who graduated from third level or below institutions. Secondly, a learner could be
able to get a qualification relating to their field of study that will be useful in their
future career. By virtue of, professional university graduates are one of the
most powerful pieces of evidence for employers that establish a graduate's
proficiency in many professions. For example, businesses in the medical
business frequently seek medical college graduates with a doctorate
degree. As a consequence, formal qualifications may also assist
individuals to compete for a good job with other applicants, resulting in
improved work chances and higher compensation.
Despite the arguments, I am convinced that students must engage in
extracurricular activities on a regular basis. To begin with, academic
students are able to interact with a variety of groups and active hobbies
through extracurricular activities. Namely that participants in youth groups
regularly improve their cooperation abilities and have significant
opportunities to interact with well-known art organizations on a variety of
large events. Accordingly, each exercise hones communication skills or
caution as vital equipment for degree holders. Furthermore, participating
in such activities may also help to alleviate the impacts of stress and
anxiety, particularly for students who are burdened with coursework. As
an example, consider volunteer labor. According to a recent study, being
helpful by supporting others gives you a lot of excitement.
In conclusion, although it might seem sensible to young people to focus on
obtaining a tertiary education in order to pursue academic studies, I
personally think that from experience and skills we gain from activities in
social life.
