ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
II. PROPONENT:
B. Rationale
“Reading is dreaming with open eyes,” we tend to celebrate the love of
reading all year round, but since November has been set aside as National
Reading Month, it can be fun to mix things up a bit and find a creative and
interesting ways to celebrate reading in special ways during this trying times.
The goal of National reading month is to help children develop the habit of
reading. For some pupil, this is no problem, but for others it can be a
challenge. Creating an atmosphere of reading love can help though. Reading
is basically a life skill. It occupies a high place of significance in a child’s
learning and personal growth. It is a cornerstone of a child’s success in
school and indeed throughout life. Reading is the key to student’s
achievement, and to make pupils feel the spirit and essence of reading,
