Narrative Report About The INSET Semestral Break of


Navalita MG ES Cluster

Title: INSET TRAINING FOR TEACHERS


Date: March 15-19, 2021

Objectives:

1. To promote the continuous improvement of the total professional staff of the


school system.
2. To eliminate deficiencies in the background preparation of teachers and
other professional workers in education.
3. To keep the professional abreast of new knowledge and
4. To give the much-needed support to the teachers who are entering a responsibility or
a new field of work especially the new teachers

The teaching staffs of Navalita/Biasong MG Elementary School together with their School
Head-Ms. Anna Marie M. Lalic organized an interactive SLAC Session and Seminar-
Workshop regarding on the following topics and discussed by the speakers:

1. Administrative Cases Seminar- Anna Marie M. Lalic


2. RPMS, Review, Mid-year Assessment Update and Preparation of MOV- Mary
Daphney A. Yekyek
3. Teachers’ Training on Contextualization –Corazon G. Pamugas
4. Research Workshop Seminar-Anna Marie M. Lalic and Gia Vera E. Aguilar
5. Child Protection Policy/Psychological First Aid- Corazon G. Pamugas and Brenda L. Rondon
6. Positive Discipline Seminar- Mercedes G. Almosa
7. Developing Virtuous Behavior in the Workplace Roll-Out- Flordeliza L. Lagumbay

The program started with a prayer led by Ms. Flordeliza L. Lagumbay followed by the

singing of national anthem conducted by Ms. Corazon G. Pamugas and an energizer through
the effort of Mr. Brenda L. Rondon, the School Head of Navalita/Biasong MG ES welcome
everyone warmly throughout the seminar.
The In-Service Training was conducted to keep abreast the school faculty with the latest
trends and best practices in teaching and learning in today’s dynamic education industry. The
INSET has not only provided the participants an opportunity to gain new skills and
knowledge, but also encouraged them to make positive changes around them. The participants
got an opportunity to share their knowledge and experience with colleagues, and learn new
pedagogical approaches.

The In-Service Training ended with the commitment of each teacher to pursue better
education for the learners of Navalita/Biasong Cluster. Indeed the Semestral Break of the
school has been fruitful and productive.
