shooters overcome low-light shooting conditions. This also allows shooters to use the
mil-dot reticle at any power. Bushnell.com.
Nikon M-223 Scopes for AR Rifles
Nikon’s new M-223 line of riflescopes features five models for AR rifles, all engineered
for the 223 Rem./5.56mm NATO round with 55-grain polymer tipped bullet at 3,240
fps. The models are 1-4×20, 2-8×32 BDC 600, 2-8×32 Nikoplex, 3-12×42SF Nikoplex,
and the 3-12×42SF Rapid Action Turret.
With Nikon’s latest reticle and adjustment technologies, the M-223 integrates the same
quality as Nikon’s flagship Monarch riflescopes. Nikon’s Point Blank Reticle is
available exclusively on the M-223 1-4×20, delivering fast, extremely accurate shots
from zero out to a 200-yard range – the “point blank range” for the .223/5.56mm 55-
grain polymer tipped round.
With its Ultra ClearCoat Optical System, Nikon has engineered the entire optical system
to provide bright, sharp, incredibly flat sight pictures, and light transmission up to its
theoretical maximum: 95 percent.
All M-223 models feature an impressive 4-time zoom range and 4 inches of constant,
non-critical eye relief. A massive ocular lens delivers a huge, exceptionally bright, high-
resolution sight picture. The scopes’ one-piece, 1-inch diameter main-body tubes keep
the weight low while maintaining maximum strength and durability. The scopes are
waterproof, fogproof, shockproof and nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed.

The TMR reticle employs various sized and spaced hash marks for increased ranging
precision and more accurate shots. The scope also features positive, tactile 1-MOA click
adjustments for elevation, and ½-MOA click adjustments for windage. Its broad
windage and elevation adjustment range helps shooters dial into long-range targets
quickly and precisely.
The 4.5-14×50mm M3 employs Leupold’s Index Matched Lens System for a clear,
crisp and bright sight picture. Its lockable fast-focus eyepiece provides long eye relief to

Steiner 10X50 Military Binocular Rangefinder
Steiner charts new territory with its lightweight 10×50 Military Binocular Laser
Rangefinder. The 10×50 Military LRF is based on Steiner’s military-tested/military-
approved Porro-prism configuration. It integrates a two-button interface and powerful
laser rangefinder with a maximum ranging distance of 1,600 yards. The unit’s built-in
laser rangefinder uses an eye-safe invisible FDA Class 1 laser in its left half. The digital
display superimposes over the image in the unit’s right half. By centering the target
display on the subject while touching and releasing the “Ranging” button atop the right
half, the digital display quickly provides an accurate distance.
By holding the ranging button more than three seconds, you activate the unit’s scan
mode, which is especially helpful for measuring small or moving targets. The scan
mode switches off automatically after 20 seconds to conserve battery life. The unit is
exceptionally rugged, and weighs about 46 ounces. Steiner-binoculars.com.
Kruger Optical’s 1-8×40 Dual Tactical Sight (DTS) was created for complex combat

reflex sight. Flip a lever and it transforms into a 2-8×40 sniper scope with mil reticle.
Adjustments can be made quickly while looking through the sight to ensure the shooter
doesn’t lose sight of the target. A patent-pending “zoom-slider” makes magnification
adjustments quick and easy. The shockproof, waterproof and fogproof scope also
features brightness-controlled “smart” illumination system, locking ¼-inch windage and
elevation tactical adjustments, fully multicoated optics. Krugeroptical.com.

Only the reticle’s center is illuminated, allowing the shooter to identify the aim point in
poor light and against dark backgrounds.
Eleven precise click stops give the shooter full control from “off” to barely visible to
medium bright. The illumination turns off between click stops, allowing shooters to set
the proper illumination level, turn it off until needed, then quickly restore the preset
level. The 5-25×56 gives sharpshooters 2,000-meter capability while still allowing
close-in operation. Its 5X magnification-range provides more flexibility and a wider
