    Explanation design

    PARKS & PLAYGROUND

    Parks and recreation are primarily a local government function, and therefore rely on financial assistance
    from local governments' general tax revenues. Parks are critical for creating and sustaining a community's
    quality of life, guaranteeing the health of families and children, and contributing to a community's
    economic and environmental well-being. The significance of parks and playgrounds is one of the main
    reasons they are included in a local government complex. One of these benefits is that it may help cities
    mitigate the urban heat island effect, which is worsened by the abundance of flat, dark surfaces composed
    of asphalt and concrete. It may also benefit our mental health and provide a space for physical activity for
    city dwellers. Additionally, parks and playgrounds are included in the project because they may serve as a
    natural home for a variety of species, thus protecting the natural environment, but they can also serve as a
    place for children to play.

    The Park and playground design for the local government building is intended to be inclusive. Post-covid,
    the designer sees a safe park and playground for everyone. The designer selected durable, safe, and easy-
    to-clean playground equipment to encourage good cleaning practices. The project also considers social
    distance. The designer aims to decrease the playground capacity to provide more room for distance, such
    playing area may be utilized by 10 children at various periods. The designer will also add user signage
    and hand sanitizing stations. Parks will need to be bigger to reduce social distance, and instead of meeting
    and gathering places, there will be more places for connection and reflection. Interactions will need more
    room. Larger open areas, wider walkways, and more seating may help. Streets may be converted for
    leisure and long-distance travel.

    BUSINESS CENTER

    A Business Centre is a professionally managed commercial facility that provides a complete business
    infrastructure for short- to medium-term lease periods. Clients may choose from a variety of adaptable
    solutions to meet their unique space and infrastructure needs. One of the reasons a business center is
    necessary in a local government complex is because increased economic activity benefits local
    governments by increasing tax revenue, which can be used to repair roads, build schools, and enhance
    public services. One advantage of utilizing a business center is that the majority of them include shared or
    communal spaces that are available to anybody renting a space. A meeting space that is easily accessible
    for business meetings makes your company seem more professional and put together than if you were
    meeting in your house or at a restaurant.

    The epidemic hasn't ended. So, workplaces, offices, and the like should be designed to accommodate the
    continuing pandemic. The designer needs a flexible design for the business center since there are no rules
    on how many individuals should phase into the workplace beyond the 6ft. The designer intended for the
    building's entrance via the sanitation station to enhance safety and efficiency. As a design guide, the
    designer explored constructing a 6-foot radius circle around a focal point to encourage social distance. An
    open workplace design is simpler to clean and reduces the amount of surface area workers contact. An
    open floor design with windows would greatly enhance workplace ventilation. The designer planned for
    the business center to include more meeting rooms and smaller meeting rooms so teams can still interact
    and work effectively.
