INTRODUCTION
PT Gerbang Multindo Nusantara (GMN) is a privately owned company. Basic nature of GMN business is system
integrator for particularly renewable energy and energy efficient technologies. In addition, GMN also provides services in
consultation, engineering, fabrication, contracting, trading, manufacturing, and maintenance activities with respect to the
energy and environment related technologies.

GMN was initiated by a group of professionals who have experiences since as early as 1978 in their specific fields,
particularly in the field of solar PV, solar thermal, micro-hydro, biomass and energy efficiency. GMN has officially
established on September 2, 1994.

GMN has been also working together with its partners domestically and internationally. The client’s trust is the most
important issues to be pursued by GMN, therefore the quality of GMN services and exact delivery time have to be
maintained. Generally, GMN capability covers the followings activities:

Engineering
 Energy supply system, electrical and mechanical design and construction, for private houses, real estates, commercial
buildings, and industries.
 Planning for reliable, efficient, and rational energy supply systems for remote applications such as: telecommunication
systems, village energy supply, home industries, agriculture processing center, drinking water supply, and public
health facilities utilizing locally available energy sources like, solar, micro-hydro, wind, biomass and combination of
them.
 Delivery and installation of technical systems utilizing alternative energy sources for communication sectors (mainly
photovoltaic), such as: base transceiver station (BTS), repeater station, radio communication (e.g. sea navigation,
railway crossing, radio beacon, and highway information system), cathodic protection, traffic signaling (e.g. light
house, buoy, barrier flasher),
 Planning and supply of system for decentralized power supply systems and rural electrification, such as: stand-alone
photovoltaic, micro-hydro power, biomass, wind energy converter, and hybrid power systems.

Energy Management and Conservation

 Carrying out the walk through energy audits, as well as detailed energy investigation by measurements and/or testing,
i.e. to identify the energy saving potentials and measures.
 Offering feasibility studies for implementation of energy saving measures by the introduction of energy management
system and/or energy efficient technologies.
 Performance of the maintenance services for maintaining the energy equipments such as: remote area power supply
system (RAPS), air conditioning system (including e.g. : chiller, cooling tower, air handling unit - AHU, and fan coil
unit - FCU), and heating system (boiler and heat exchanger).
 Development of computer based energy accounting systems.

Hardware Supply, Delivery and Installation
 Supply of the renewable energy components and balance of systems, i.e.: PV panels, solar charge controller, DC/AC
inverters, solar-thermal collector, wind energy converter, pico- & micro-hydro turbines, and biomass.
 Delivery and installation of building facilities, like: elevator, escalator and electricity back-up system.
 Supply of energy efficient systems, such as: Combined Heat and Power (CHP) or cogeneration, and Waste Heat
Recovery (WHR) systems.
 Supervision services for energy saving measures and conservation programs.
 Plan and installation of instrumentation system for process control and monitoring of energy conversion systems.

High Quality Elevator

PT GMN hold fully authorization to supply and delivery as well as maintenance work of “Sicher Elevator” made by SRH
Aufzuge GmbH (Germany) from production center in China. Those products are well known and trademark as save facility
for elevating peoples at hotel, office and apartment and other high building. Under this appointment, GMN is eligible to
provide the following:
 Two (2) year full guarantee and twelve (12) years of free maintenance
 Free site visit to the production Center in China for special number of order quantity

Innovative Lightning Protection (Brightex PLR)

PT GMN has been appointed by Brightex Ltd. Canada as an Authorize Sole Agent of an innovative Plasma Lightning
Rejection (PLR) in Indonesia and South East Asian Region.
As an innovative equipment :
o PLR use ‘lightning strike-power’ to ionize the surrounding air to produce plasma and rejecting lightning potential.
o As an innovative PLR unit will effectively protect area by mean “ asset, human and environment” instead only
a single building as current available lightning system do.
o Protection area by PLR installation at 25 meter tower is around 20 hectares (at radius of 10 times tower height)
o PLR will work for over 20 years with no electricity power consumption (no opex)

Overall, GMN Energy focuses its business on renewable energy projects development in Indonesia, with the aim of
providing reliable, efficient, and rational energy supply system for the respective GMN’s clients.

Mr. Chayun Budiono, Managing Director.

He obtained his master degree in Renewable Energy System with
emphasis on Economics of Energy Supply System from the University of
Oldenburg (Germany) in 1993.
He received his bachelor degree in Physics in 1975 and obtained his
engineering degree on Engineering Physics in 1978.
He has been active in renewable energy development activities after his
under-graduation in 1975 where he started his involvement with solar
collectors, solar desalination, domestic solar water heating, and solar
dryer
Since then, he devoted his activities in renewable energy developments
and energy conservation activities, particularly those related closely with
rural, off-grid and sustainable development.
He has been provided his expertise to a broad range of services in energy
planning and auditing, cogeneration in industrial process, and renewable
energy development for rural applications (including biomass, solar PV
and thermal, and small hydro).
He is a part-time lecturer on energy related topics at the “Sepuluh
Nopember” Institute of Technology (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia.

Mr. Bambang D. Danarko, Operation Director.

Manages the operational, project development and marketing, and
technical aspects to ensure smooth and continue project execution.
He obtained his Engineering Degree on Architecture from the “Sepuluh
Nopember” Institute of Technology (ITS) in Surabaya in 1980,
He initiated his carrier in the consulting services related with the housing
and spatial planning.
In early 90th he became interested in energy field when he involved in
GMN project services on energy audit and saving measures in the
housing and building sector.
He extended his carrier also in renewable energy particularly solar
