PRE-INTERROGATION ASSESSMENT
1. What is a sales funnel?
It Is a buying process that companies lead customers through when purchasing products. It also refer
to the process through which a company find, qualifies and sells its products to buyers.

2. What are the processes and stages involved in making a sale?

Following Are the processes and stages involved in making a sale:
 The first of the seven steps in the sales process is prospecting.
 Second one is Preparation.
 Third one is Approach.
 Fourth one is Presentation.
 Fifth one is Handling objections.
 Sixth one is Closing.
 Seventh and the last one is Follow-up.

3. Differentiate Marketing funnel & Sales Funnel.

Marketing funnel advertises a product or service to give leads a reason to buy. Whereas, the sales
funnel deals with the leads (from the marketing funnel), enticing them to buy, not once, but as often
as possible.

4. If you’re facing any objection from your leads and how are you going to overcome them in order to
convert them to a valuable customer of our corporation?
Businesses must overcome several obstacles before successfully selling a product or service to a
customer. The most basic obstacles include defining the product or service, making the customer
aware of it, and making it easily available. However, the toughest obstacle to completing a sale is a
last-minute ‘sales objection’ from the prospect. A sales objection is an explicit expression by the
prospect explaining why they will not complete the purchase.
To overcome the objection from my leads first I closely to determine how strong their objection is
and if it is the ‘real’ reason they have for not proceeding. Secondly I try to understand the objection
from my leads because Prospects aren’t always entirely honest about their sales objections. In some
cases, they may also struggle to articulate their objections fully. If you sense that a prospect is not
fully explaining their sales objection, ask a few questions to get to the crux of the issue. Thirdly, I
respond to the objection. I do my best to resolve the objection immediately, as it will improve the
chances of completing the sale. However, I may need to get back to the lead when I have more
information or a better deal to offer. At last, I confirm the objection is resolved. After responding to
the lead, I ask them if they are satisfied with what I have said. If I haven’t fully resolved their
objections, they may opt out of the sale at a later date.

5. Explain the sales funnel with a real time example or a case study.
Netflix is the most used paid subscriber video streaming service that allows its members to watch a
wide variety of award-winning movies, TV shows, documentaries, and more on millions of internet-
connected devices.
Their site is very simple too. There’s not a lot of confusing copy and you know exactly what you’re
getting. They change their background image based on what movies and shows are being promoted.
They also offer a risk reversal where you can cancel any time and not be locked into a contract.
Following Are the Steps In The Sales Funnel:
 Homepage: their homepage clearly explains their risk-free trial with a progress bar/timeline
design. They state that there’s no commitment with the free trial and you can cancel anytime.
They emphasize the risk reversal because Netflix is a recurring charge.
 Pricing Page: you can scroll right down to the FAQ section and find the pricing info.
By default, Netflix selects the Premium plan for you (which is a very smart move). You can
downgrade if you want though.
How The Sales Funnel Works:
We have multiple payment options like gift card, credit card, and PayPal. All major credit cards are
accepted. You can also go back and edit the information so you’re not locked in. There’s an emphasis
on security which is great because people are naturally risk-averse. Netflix is simple. It’s very focused
on the end consumer. And they answer consumer questions cleanly and clearly with the least
amount of text needed.

Netflix can rely on the power of its brand. Everyone knows Netflix. You can also contact them by
phone. Not a lot of web-based companies share their phone number. This just builds trust even
further.
