Lodging your application

Please note that access to the Australian Embassy Belgrade is by appointment only.

If you intend to lodge a Tourist (Subclass 676) visa application at the Australian Embassy Belgrade,
please call +381 11 33 03 400 between 9.00 am and 11.00 am, Monday to Friday to make an
appointment.

The departmental service standard is to have 75% of Tourist visa applications finalised within one
month. However, the actual processing time for an individual application can be shorter or longer
than this, depending on the specific circumstances of the case.

Please note that if all required documents are not provided at the time of lodgement, this can extend
the processing time of your application.

To lodge a Tourist visa application, you will need to:

 complete application form 48R (link below);
 pay the relevant Visa Application Charge (details below);
 provide documentation from the Tourist Visa Document Checklist (see below); and
 complete a Visa Questionnaire (see below).

 PAYMENT OF TOURIST VISA APPLICATION CHARGE

Should you decide to lodge an application for tourist visa, the visa application charge is
the equivalent of 110 Australian dollars in Euros (85 EUR), as at 1 July 2011.

The Australian Embassy in Belgrade can only accept payments in Euros.

Alternatively, payment may be made in Australian Dollars at Department of Immigration and Citizenship offices in
Australia by friends or family members of clients applying in Belgrade. The original receipt must then be sent to the
Australian Embassy in Belgrade with the application.

Clients in Serbia
Payment can only be made in cash (Euros only) at the Australian Embassy in Belgrade.

Clients in Albania and Bulgaria

Bank transfer at any bank.

Receipt: original receipt must be sent to the Embassy in Belgrade with the application.
Note: clients will be responsible for any international transfer fees charged by the sending and receiving banks.

 Potpisan PASOS, koji vazi za ceo planirani period boravka u Australiji.
 Ako POSECUJETE RODJAKA ILI PRIJATELJA U AUSTRALIJI - dokaz o australijskom drzavljanstvu ili stalnom boravku kao
i pismena izjava da ce snositi troskove vaseg smestaja, pruziti finansijsku i zdravstvenu pomoc te da cete napustiti Australiju
pre isteka vize.

 Ukoliko vas RODJAK ILI PRIJATELJ obezbedjuje finansije za vase putovanje i boravak u Australiji, neophodno je da dostavi
dokaz novijeg datuma da tu obavezu moze i da ispuni (npr. izvod iz banke, dokaz o placenom porezu, pismo poslodavca
/izvestaj o primanjima itd).

 Ako ste zaposleni, pismo novijeg datuma VASEG POSLODAVCA u kojem je naveden vas licni dohodak, od kada ste
zaposleni, na kom radnom mestu radite, period odobrenog odsustva sa posla i informaciju da li cete biti u radnom odnosu
nakon povratka iz Australije. Ako ste vlasnik firme, dostavite potvrdu o registraciji firme kao i dokaz o placenom porezu ili
potvrda o bonitetu firme.

 Dokaz o IMOVINSKOM STANJU/nekretninama (vlasnicki list).

 Ako sami snosite troskove puta i boravka u Australiji, dokaz da imate PRISTUP FINANSIJAMA. Dokaz moze biti u vidu
izvoda iz banke (novijeg datuma) koji pokazuje stanje na vasem racunu u poslednjih 6 meseci, izvestaj o primanjima.
Gotovina kao dokaz nije prihvatljiva.
Ako ste UCENIK/STUDENT, potvrda od skole/fakulteta da ste redovan ucenik/student i da vam je odobreno odsustvo sa
 nastave, kao i indeks.

 Ako imate manje od 18 godina, ili ako je dete mladje od 18 godina ukljuceno u vasu molbu:
 IZVOD IZ MATICNE KNJIGE RODJENIH za dete.
 Ako dete putuje samo ili sa jednim roditeljem - saglasnost oba roditelja.
 Ova saglasnost mora biti overena u sudu, opstini, australijskoj ambasadi ili australijskom konzulatu.

 Ukoliko imate 75 ili vise godina moracete da obavite lekarski pregled da bi se ustanovilo da li ste sposobni za put.
U toku obrade molbe obavesticemo vas kako i gde da obavite taj pregled.
 Ako imate 75 ili vise godina ZDRAVSTVENO OSIGURANJE za ceo period vaseg boravka u Australiji. Zdravstveno
osiguranje mozete dostaviti nakon sto obradimo vase lekarske nalaze.

 NAPOMENA: Ukoliko zelite da treca osoba (agent, rodjaci ili osoba koju nameravate da posetite) dobija informacije o vasem
predmetu, potrebno je da dostavite pismenu saglasnost.

 FORM 48R- For a standard short or long stay tourist visa application - please ensure all questions are answered and the
form is signed.

 VISA QUESTIONNAIRE – please ensure all questions are answered and the questionnaire is signed.
 Four passport sized PHOTOGRAPHS – less than one year old.
 A valid signed PASSPORT, valid for your planned period of stay in Australia.
 Ifforyouthatareperson
VISITING A RELATIVE OR FRIEND IN AUSTRALIA - evidence of Australian Citizenship or permanent residence
and a statement about whether he/she is prepared to guarantee your accommodation, financial assistance
and your departure from Australia before your authorised stay expires.

 IfRELATIVE
your relative or friend will be financially supporting your travel to and stay in Australia, you must provide evidence of your
OR FRIEND’S INCOME. This could include a recent Taxation Assessment Notice, a recent bank statement or a
recent letter from their employer stating their income level.

 Evidence of your EMPLOYMENT STATUS AND INCOME. You must provide a letter from your employer confirming your
length of employment, salary and position. This letter should also state how much paid leave you have been granted and
whether your employer guarantees that you will have a job on your return. If you are self employed please provide evidence
that your company is registered with the appropriate authorities, and that it is currently operational.

 Evidence of your PROPERTY AND ASSETS. This should include ownership documents for property.
 Ifstatement
you are meeting the costs of your travel and stay in Australia, EVIDENCE OF FUNDS in the form of a recent bank
showing transactions for a 6 month period preceding this application . Cash held is not acceptable
evidence of funds.
 Ifyouyouhaveare been
a student, a CERTIFICATE FROM YOUR SCHOOL OR UNIVERSITY showing that you are enrolled and whether
approved to take leave from your studies, as well as your Student Book.

 If youchild’s
are a child aged under 18 years of age, or if a child under 18 is included in your application, you must provide:
BIRTH CERTIFICATE, and
 if the child is travelling without both parents, the non-travelling parent(s) must provide WRITTEN CONSENT FOR THE
CHILD TO TRAVEL to Australia. This signed statement must be witnessed by a court, public notary or by an officer of
the Australian Embassy or Consulate.
If you are 75 years of age or over you will be required to undergo a medical examination to determine your fitness to travel.
 You will be advised of how and where this examination is to be done once your application has been assessed.
