constant and valuable guidance in the truest sense throughout the work. It was his encouragement and support from
the initial to the final level that enabled us to develop an understanding of the topic. Every time we had a problem,
we would rush to him for his advice, and he would never let us down. His timely suggestions helped us to
circumvent all sorts of hurdles that we had to face throughout our work. We are deeply indebted for his motivation

Background of the social media initiatives
Description of the initiatives:
I have social media page for sports news naming “Follow All Sports” on Facebook and
Instagram. Facebook id: followallsports & Instagram handle: follow_allsports.
I make sure I post quick enough after the game or the events end with big news.
I use canva.com for edit my post and I make sure I am uploading images and video type content for my pages.
This type of content is always effective as people tent to read and stay on your post for longer. I have posted
content of Cricket, Football Euro cup, F1, Tennis, Olympics, as well as Paralympics.

Objective of starting the initiatives:


The goal of the social media page was to gather all types of sports news on one page and ensure that people
were informed of various sports across the world. My job is to raise public awareness of sports and athletes who
are working hard to represent their country, particularly in the Olympics and Paralympics. Athletes that put
forth a lot of effort should be recognised by their peers. And they should be applauded and encouraged.
Selection of the social media channel:
I selected Instagram and Facebook since these are where my audience hangs out, and I want to make sure I'm
providing them with the greatest material possible.
My sports profile does not fit in with the other social media channels. These enable you to post and produce
material to its greatest potential and reach the widest possible audience.

Why to use Facebook


With over 2.5 billion monthly active users, it's no surprise that more and more businesses are turning to
Facebook to promote their products and services. With such a large audience to sell to, Facebook is
undoubtedly a platform on which many businesses try to be visible. You may be aware, though, that Facebook
has gone through a lot in recent years. What does the disinformation issue that Facebook experienced a few
years ago, as well as the media and public attention, indicate for the future of marketing? The future of
marketing is only looking brighter from here, as Facebook continues on its path to recovery. Despite this
stumbling block, Facebook continues to be one of the most popular social networking sites for companies.

Why to use Instagram


It's incredible to see how far Instagram has progressed in the last few years. Instagram is being used by an
increasing number of firms to enhance their social media marketing efforts. In 2016, Instagram debuted its
Business Account, which gives businesses tools to better analyse their existing and potential consumers.
According to Instagram, there are over 25 million company accounts in the globe, with 200 million
Instagrammers visiting at least one business profile every day, and this figure is growing. Furthermore,
Instagram is currently used by over 2 million marketers to share their experiences and achieve commercial
outcomes.
Marketing activities you are planning to perform to maximize visitors and
visitor engagement:
1. You have to make sure your content is worth viewing by the audience, if you have good content then
you will have great engagement.
2. You should be responsive to your followers if they have concern then solve it and make sure you are
interacting with them to make them involved
3. Make sure you are asking your readers to like, share and follow your page with others
4. Create a Facebook Groups, Facebook groups are an excellent method to boost social media
participation. Members of groups are able to publish their queries at any moment, making them more
social than pages.
5. Use at least images in your content, there is a study in which content with images has 150% gain in
share and like to those post
6. Ask Question or start a poll on the page make the followers involve on your page
7. You should post multiple time daily and make more content as possible
8. Your headlines should be honest and compelling
9. Only share material that is relevant to your page, and make sure it is factual for the audience you were
chosen for.
10. Using Hashtags on social media is important as the algorithm of these page work according to them, the
more the hashtags and more relevant they are the more engagement you get on your post.
11. In the similar way we should the emoticons while you write a content on the page. The emojis can make
readers have interest with your content.

Because most of my followers are teenagers or avid sports fans, the page's reach and likes, as well as its
followers, have grown organically, with hashtags playing a large role. The majority of my material was made up
of photos, with some official videos given as well. I've also reshared my posts in sports-related groups and
ensured that I've uploaded Instagram and Facebook stories. Because it is a news-based page, my page does not
have a calendar, and I cannot predict the outcome of a game in that sport.
Conclusion
The understanding I gained from my project work over the previous three months is that social media and
digital marketing are highly essential ways to expand your business for small/growing businesses. Also, major
businesses use social media for public awareness campaigns since they don't want to lose their customers'
attention.
With over 3.7 billion active social media users globally, social media marketing is a critical platform for all
types of businesses. Social media platforms give a huge audience for your business to engage with consumers,
boost brand recognition, and create more leads.
