Who are involved in DRRM as mandated in the DRRM Act?

1.National Government
The different government departments and agencies with
responsibilities related to DRRM are constituted as members of
the National DRRM Council (NDRRMC) to ensure consistency in the
DRRM policies, plans and programs of the government.

2.Local Government Units (LGUs)


LGUs are considered as the frontliners and “first responders” in
every disaster event. They take the lead in preparing for,
responding to, and recovering from the effects of any disaster.
