INTRODUCTION
In this part we are going to talk about the company as a whole. We will start from its identification
with its different activities through its structural organisation.
I. Identification
ISO-TECH consulting is an SME created in 2010 in the city of Douala and based in the Bonaberi
district (Lieu-dit COMECI BANK). It works mainly in the sorting ,collection and treatment of waste.
The treating here is done either by recycling or by destruction (Incineration).
ii.Location
ISO-TECH Sarl has 10 permanent people in the QHSE and Civil engineering professions. Equipped
with a network of experts and experienced consultants judiciously distributed at the national, sub-
regional and global levels. We can represent them by a flowchart.
Means of transport
To easily meet the needs of our customer , the company has many material resources and means of
various services such as:

This department deals with waste management which is a major concern for most companies who
to be respectful by respecting international standards and for this department offers:
ISO-TECH consulting
Through this department, ISO-TECH Sarl thus intends to provide solutions to all the company’s
problems. Thus it offers as a sector of activity:
QHSE training;
Advice;
ISO Certification;
Study of hazards and PU;
Environmental impact study;
Environmental audit.
This department makes it possible to respond quickly and efficiently by providing specific solutions
to pollution and sanitation problems and it offers as services:
Pollution analysis;
Maintenance of green spaces;
Degassing of tanks and silos;
Deracination, pest control and anti-snake control;
Cleaning of surfaces.
During our internship at ISO-TECH we observed, assisted and performed so many industrial tasks
which include:
1.Transformation of plastic papers , plastic bottles and sand into paving stones
The transformation of plastic papers and bottles into paving stone is a process that requires
We began by heating a given kilograms of plastics papers till melting point ,at melting point we
added plastics bottles and continue the heating and mixing till it all melted then a given amount of
sieved sand is added and continuous mixing till a given concentration. At this point, the mixture is
place in difference mule depending one choice of design and then cold to solidify in cold water and
finally its removed from the mule and a paving stone obtained.
This is an industrial process that requires the use of a machine which is used in heating the plastics
papers to melting point then to evaporation and the evaporated steam is cold and it falls as gasoline
which is collected in jar.
3.Incineration of waste
During our internship we offloaded, weight and incinerated hospital waste from Mbingo annex by
burning in an incinerator
III.The respect of health security, various security equipment and their rules used during
the internship.
During our internship at ISO-TECH, every we were provided with new face masks each week this was
to protect us from every unpleasant or irretentive ordure coming from the waste.
We were also provided with hands gloves to prevent any direct infection.
1. Security shoes
Security shoes are used to protect our feet from any incident that may arise.
Security shoes also protect the body from leakage current
This jacket helps to reduce rays and also protect the body from direct contact with chemicals

Safety cap protect the head from every incident that may arise at work

Gloves are used to protect the hands from flames
Gloves protect the hands from dangerous chemicals
4. Face mask
Face mask covers the mouth and the nose, preventing dust particles and bad ordure from
getting into the track.
Face mask also prevent irretentive ordure from getting into the track.

IV. The management of wastes and how good hygiene is practiced at ISO-TECH
Introduction of washing point at the gate and at every exit point in the company.
Introduction of dust bins which ease the disposal of waste and help keep the environment
clean.
At the beginning of every new week ISO-TECH give each of personnel a face mask
ISO-TECH manage their wastes by recycling all their wastes product and burnt those that cannot
be recycle in an incinerator.
IIV. Difficulties faced and the relationship between the tasks performed during the internship with
what we learnt in school.
During our internship we faced difficulties performing some tasks which we were not so familiar to
such as:
It was so difficult working at the incinerator due to direct heat coming from it.
It was not easy to persevere going to work from 7am to 6pm everyday.
It was not also easy working for close to 12hours wearing face mask due to heat.
ISO-TECH is made up of well organised personnel who are very time conscious, very welcoming , kind
and very respectful.
CONCLUTION
ISO-TECH consulting Sarl is a recycling company found in Bonaberi-Douala which is made up of a well
organised and qualified professional staff. It recycle plastic papers, plastic bottles into paving stones,
gasoline and others useful materials.
We thank the director of IUT and his entire staff for making it possible for us to improve our
professional skills through this internship.
