    Service Message – RRE, 8FBRE: New reference plates
    BSM: 0952

    1. Background and explanation


    The plates that indicate the position of the fork carriage come loose or
    change position. Friction dependent locking is insufficient. When the plates
    move, they change position with regard to the sensor.

    2. Solution
    To address this problem, new plates have been developed. They will be in-
    troduced in the production process as from 21/09/2009.

    7510402 1.6 tonnes
    7510404 2.0 tonnes
    The new plates can be used as spare parts for trucks that have problems with
    the existing plates. Plate 7510404 replaces 7506296, and plate 7510402 re-
    places 7506295.
