Landmarks Around The World

The Eiffel Tower is the most recognizable


landmark in Paris and is known worldwide as a symbol of France.
Named after its designer, Gustave Eiffel, it is a premier tourist
destination, with over 5.5 million visitors per year.

In 1631 the emperor Shah Jahan built the Taj


Mahal in memory of his wife Mumtaz, who died in childbirth. This
building is considered the most beautiful building in the world.

The Chinese worked on the Great Wall for over


1700 years. In turn, each emperor who came to power added pieces
of the wall to protect their empire. Today, the Great Wall still stands.
It can be seen from space, it’s that big!
