Myself Benedict veronica Maria an Indian Resident and Citizen bearing the Passport No:
V1616656 writing the statement of purpose to put forth my aspiration to pursue my career
through Masters in MSC ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT WITH PLACEMENT at your
esteemed university. I always have a strong interest in the innovations of the engineering
field, as well as leadership skills that have allowed me to work with others to accomplish a
common goal. Through this master’s programme in Engineering Project Management, I hope
to continue driving innovation in the engineering field through farsighted leadership and
thorough understanding of the field. In order to succeed in the field of engineering
management, I have first sought of experiences that would heighten my knowledge in the
field of engineering, For the past two years I have completed multiple internships in the field
of Aeronautical Engineering to understand the types of project engineers work on. As a child
I was exposed to various technological concepts and applications which inspired me to
pursue a career in engineering. My aim has always been to join the family business and
contribute my knowledge & expertise to it. Hence, I chose to major in MSc in Engineering
project management with placement at the undergraduate level to ensure a sound
technological base

EDUCATION BACKGROUND:

I have done my schooling from Rosary Convent High School with 80% in 2015, completed
Intermediate (MPC) from Sri Chaitanya Junior kalasala with 75% in 2017 and successfully
completed my Bachelor’s in Aeronautical Engineering from Malla reddy college for
Engineering & Technology with 77% in 2020 from Autonomous Institution, UGC, govt of
India. To enhance my technical skills, after the completion of my graduation, I also took
training for Technical courses like C language, C++, Fundamentals in python and AutoCAD,
and awarded for a gold medal for firing and skeet shooting in a state level in NCC and
Awarded several medals and certificates for singing during school and college and in free
time used to play Badminton and listening to classical music etc.,

Done project in MANUFACTURING OF A GYROSCOPE COMPONENT USING CNC

TURNING CENTRE- The objective of this project was coding and manufacturing of the
casing component on CNC turn mill centre. The project contains various operations that
are to be performed to complete machining by maintaining required dimensional
accuracies of the component. This project was carried out in Bharat Dynamic
Limited(BDL). DETERMINATION OF STACKING FAULT ENERGY FOR Ni-Ti
BASED SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY- The main objective of is to determine the stacking
fault energy of Ni-Ti based shape memory alloy. Analytical followed by numerical model
will be developed at the end of proposed work which enables to choose the composition
based on applications

The United Kingdom has the reputation of offering high-quality education and receiving
student’s world internationally over for many years. Qualification obtained from the United
Kingdom is valued worldwide and most especially in my country. Employer’s value
graduates from the United Kingdom. Experience has shown that these graduate are well
trained, have the required skills and deliver great results. This is why I choose to further my
studies in the UK to become more valuable in the job market, which will enable me to reach
my future goal.

I hope that after gaining this MSC IN Engineering Management qualification, it would be a
great educational achievement for building my professional career and its development.

WHY MSC ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT WITH PLACEMENT?

The Engineering Management Master's Degree Program is specifically designed to provide

business management and technical skills to engineering professionals, the program includes
foundation courses in economics, negotiations, marketing, decisions analysis and innovative
product design that will help improve efficiency, product delivery, budgeting and decision-
making.

Today, the fields of Engineering and Management are continuously changing to

accommodate new concepts and applications. These fields when combined with management
give rise to a vast application potential. The immense possibility of Business Interchange and
the instant knowledge of the outcome that stimulates one for further analysis is what I find
most appealing about management. Hence, I intend to pursue my masters in Engineering
Management, while engineering has been my passion, my aptitude is inclined towards
management and entrepreneurship which is evidence from my performance trajectory. The
success of an engineering project highly depends on its planning and Implementation, hence,
management becomes a crucial aspect of any business venture.

A career that combines the use of my management skills with technical knowledge of
engineering best suits my profile. Therefore, I am applying to the Master’s in Engineering
Management to study the unique combination of the subjects at your prestigious university.
Management has always piqued my interest since, unlike a desk job, it requires a human
connection. I studied Aeronautical Engineering as an undergraduate and now want to
combine my technical talents with management knowledge to pursue a career in Engineering
Management.

centre for advanced learning it mainly focuses on research based education. The university
includes the institute for cultural & media economics, precision medicine, space & earth
observation and structural & chemical biology.it carries out skill development initiative to
drive in aptitude for evolving technologies not just this, it offers career counselling and
maintains placements cell. The vibrant campus has sports arenas, fitness centres, cafeterias,
auditoriums, and parks. The sports clubs and cultural clubs ensure cross-disciplinary

Through this we can establishes team spirit. The University of Leicester is a destination for
qualitative learning with innovation. It provides online tools and individually fitted, they give
advice and help to extend and develop academic skills. Davide Wilson library which is open
for 24 hours is providing the best facilities and can get all the academic books at this library.
Leicester is multicultural city, so you there we can adapt to the environment very easily no
matter what is your background. It is a pretty decent university with pretty decent
accommodation and life that they have to offer

CAREER PLANS:

After completion of master’s, I envision myself in business strategies. In the future I harbour
dreams of setting up my firm which would provide consults to help medium-scaled
companies make marketing decisions. Refining my enterprenuireship at your prestigious
university would help me take forward this dream into reality.
I was determined that my higher education should not only explore the advanced concepts of
engineering, but also introduce me to the newer dimensions of the industry. My quest for
such a course promoted me to pursue the Masters of Engineering Management program.
Since the discipline combines elements for business management with engineering studies, it
will bring versatility to my career possibilities. Considering my passion for engineering and
my dream of becoming a project administrator, the notion of pursuing higher education that
can combine the best of both worlds seemed like a logical stride forward.

CONCLUSION:

I am mindful that pursuing this course requires a high level of dedication and immense
perseverance. I feel assured that am capable of contributing to the scholastic esteem of your
esteemed university and bringing more colours to its cultural vibrancy. I zealously wait for an
