1. PURPOSE OF DOCUMENT
Project Overview:
Honeywell has been engaged by AFCONS- SFSB CONSORTIUM to supply the Closed-circuit
Television (CCTV) for the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd., (ONGC), India. The present Job
Specification is for Design related to CCTV Systems.
The scope of supply includes:

 Supply and commissioning of CCTV System.
 Provide network requirements (IP addresses, bandwidth, ports).
 Integration and Site testing
 Provide all the drawings and documentation required to support the design.
The CCTV System will be used for obtaining live view of the authorized / unauthorized entry, and
recording the events for future investigation, tracking of personal movement in the site and its
associated facilities.
1.1 Ownership / Intellectual Property Rights of Document

This document contains information that is confidential & proprietary to Honeywell and may not
be produced for given to third party without the express written permission of Honeywell Process
Solution.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 Honeywell
 To conduct and manage the Site Acceptance Test for CCTV system as per the approved SAT
Procedure.
 One set of Design documents / drawings will be made available for reference irrespective of
approval / information category with latest applicable revision during SAT. All design input
documents received from AFCON/AKER will be made available for reference.
 To attend the Punch Points raised by AFCON/AKER during SAT.
 Upon successful completion of Site Acceptance Test, system shall be handed over for
operations.
The SAT will be a joint activity to be carried out by the AFCON/AKER and Honeywell. Honeywell
will undertake the SAT activities associated with the CCTV system. The AFCON/AKER shall
accept the system against the agreed specification as demonstrated by the Site Acceptance
Tests.
2.2 AFCONS/Aker
 To witness the Site Acceptance Test for CCTV system conducted and managed by Honeywell.
 Sign-off SAT Completion Certification.

6. GENERAL
6.1 Drawing Procedures
Before testing begins, all the relevant documents, drawings and test documents shall be collected
and properly identified as “TEST COPIES”. All engineering drawings shall be verified as Approved
for Construction (AFC).
Queries on drawings/documents shall be reported to the Project Engineer, and where a drawing
change is agreed, the Project Engineer shall mark the TEST COPY set. The change shall be signed
dated by the Project Engineer. Test personnel shall not implement drawing changes but only list the
required drawing changes in the SAT Punch List. The Customer will review the SAT Punch List entry
for compliance, and then initiate the punch list item “complete”.
6.2 Test Equipment

Test equipment will include but not be limited to the following.
 Digital Multi-Meter(s)
 Tool kit – Screwdriver set, LAN Tester etc.

6.3 SAT Punch list Items

A SAT Punch List will be used to document all non-conformances or faults found in the system
during various tests. All faults, exceptions or non-conformances shall be identified together with
corrective actions.

6.4 SAT Schedule

The SAT schedule shall be submitted by Project Manager. The detailed dates will be communicated
later.
Broadly the Testing will start with Hardware Verification and then further continuation with Software
Functionality checks and System functionality checks.

7. SCOPE OF SAT
Honeywell will conduct and manage the Site Acceptance Test for CCTV Systems at yard(onshore)
and integration of system at offshore as per CCTV block diagram.
Broadly the scope of SAT includes the testing of hardware / software items covered in the Bill of
Material. Integration of system at offshore as per CCTV block diagram.
Integration & Testing of CCTV system as per Approved BOM & CCTV system block diagram to be
done. All test to be performed as per ONGC functional specification.
7.1 SAT for CCTV Systems

Following equipment’s of CCTV Systems will be tested during SAT:
 Hardware Inspection
 Functional Inspection
 License Verification
8. CABINET VERIFICATION TEST

This includes visual inspection of hardware & functionality test.
8.1 Cabinet verification

Cabinet hardware items shall be verified (w.r.t. GA & Wiring drawings Doc. No. INP-014180-CCTV-
013 & INP-014180-CCTV-012) in three main categories:
 Cabinet Verification: All equipment’s located inside cabinet enclosures shall be verified
against the as built drawings. Power supplies, power distribution and wiring, servers, switches,
LIU etc. This verification also includes Visual verification of cabinet for dimensions, color,
surface finishing and wiring interface equipment against the cabinet drawings.
 Wiring Verification: All wiring and cabling shall be verified against the as built drawings. This
includes electrical power, equipment interconnection, Cabinet wiring including earthing
connections.
 Network Verification: All network wiring and cabling shall be properly identified and
connected as per the network connection drawings.

9. SWITCH VERIFICATION TEST PROCEDURE

This includes verification tests of networking components switch.
Refer APPENDIX-4 for Switch verification.

10. CCTV SYSTEM VERIFICATION

10.1 SAT Set-up
To demonstrate the functionality of CCTV system, All the Cameras are to be installed and powered
on as per the documents. All the components are installed and powered on as per the
documentation.

10.2 Server Verification

These covers checking camera functionalities like zoom, tilt & operation of camera movement.

This covers tests like viewing live video on client machines, checking functionalities like video
recording, viewing the recorded clips, archiving / exporting of video clips etc.

Select any clip from the Recordings grid with the digital signature and audit
2 log and then Click “Export”. Save the clip at desired location by specifying the
file name and folder. Confirm that the videos are saved
Archive the Video Clip:
1 Navigate to the Recordings page and ensure the following functions
2 Select any clip from the Recordings grid and click “Archive”.
3 Confirm the colour of archived clip changes from black to grey colour (as
applicable).
Restoring Video Clips:
1 Navigate to the Recordings page and ensure the following functions :
2 Ensure the archived clips are available in the Archive folder of the respective
storage.
3 Confirm the colour of restored clip changes from grey to blue colour.
4 Open the corresponding graphics page and check the camera status is
displayed in green colour.
5 Click the camera icon and then check the camera live view is displayed in a
small pop-up window.
