Request to Defer Admission for International Applicants


IMPORTANT:
• Only students having paid their first semester fees can be granted deferral of admission.
• This request must be received before the 10th day of classes of the semester into which the student has been admitted.
• Students may only defer once. Subsequent requests for deferral are considered new applications and will require a new application
and new application fee payment.
• If there is no new semester start date mentioned in this request, or if your program is not available in the requested semester,
Seneca will consider the next available start date.
• Once your request has been granted, you will receive a new Letter of Acceptance. This may take two to three weeks to process.
• ELI students who have arrived and taken their placement test are not eligible for deferrals of admission and will need to withdraw.
• Students with conditional offers with a partnered, pathway school will be required to submit a new Pathway School Enrolment letter.
