Below are questions from the previous Chapters (topics) presented by different
groups. Please choose two (2) questions for each set of subjective questions
below presented in BOLD, UNDERLINED and ITALICIZED fonts. Ten (10) points each.

Why is global governance multi-faceted?

It has been considered to affect reality because it combines political and

economic considerations with consumer behavior, via changes in those elements
and the rise of international marketplaces. It has other facets in addition to
politics, economy, and culture.

How do international organizations take on “lives on their own”?

They frequently take on life of their own, stumbling along due to bureaucracy's
survival instinct and lethargy. They may appear to be of the highest importance
as a result. However, the interests of their member nations frequently co-opt
them.

How is regionalism different from and yet part of the globalization?

Regionalization shows that global interactions are structured differently in

different regions, in contrast to globalization, which argues that the globe is
becoming increasingly integrated.

What triggers various regionalist projects?

Regionalism was both made possible and encouraged by the end of the Cold War
and its consequences. The development of globalization, degrees of current
economic interconnectedness, and the globalization of international economic
structure in particular prompted governments to launch initiatives aimed at
fending against the forces of the global market.

Why is secularization theory outdated?

Secularization limits religion's ability to influence contemporary cultures. Religious

institutions have minimal social clout in secularized nations, and faith loses
cultural influence. Both as a theory and as a historical process, secularization has
several layers of significance.
How do you describe the reactions of some religious movements to globalization?
How do others facilitate globalization?

Globalization is also aided by improved domestic fiscal regulations and trade

agreements among nations. Globalization is also facilitated by political and
economic stability.

Do you think globalization leads to cultural imperialism?

The idea that globalization is imperialist is analogous to saying that freeing

slaves forces a specific way of life on the freed people. When used ethically,
globalization liberates trade. Elimination of trade restrictions and the removal of
barriers are the antithesis of any enforced imperialism.

What strategies can you use to distinguish between fake and factual information
on the internet?

Though fake news is an unavoidable aspect of modern life, it need not be deadly.
By following a few straightforward instructions outlined in the U.S., you may be
confident that you're receiving a clear, objective perspective of global events.
News. Check your sources: Is that a reputable website or journal, or is it a
specialized work created for a particular target market?

Why is economic power the most crucial determinant of global city?

The most important determining factor is economic power since all communities
and civilizations across the world prioritize the value and worth of money over the
value and worth of their residents' lives, quality of life, and standard of living.

Why is there a lot of inequality in global cities?

For instance, entrance requirements for the technical and financial service sectors,
where development has been focused, are very high in many global cities. ...
Inequality is impacted by historical events like wars, industrialization, colonization,
as well as present trade agreements, financial systems, and global politics. Poor
public education and the high cost of higher education degrees actually serve to
maintain inequality rather than to address it.
How can technology and interventions in development offset the pressures of
population growth?

The population rise can be mitigated by technology. Despite the population's fast
growth, technology can provide methods to make life easier. It can provide
occupations that are appropriate for the populace. It may also offer a remedy for
the growing population. Technology advancements can provide several solutions
to counteract population expansion.
The following solutions that the technology do to offset the population growth can be:

1. A technology for the reduction of fertility

2. More factory and establishments providing more jobs
3. Industrialization providing more products of food which can support the
whole population

Under what circumstances is rapid population growth beneficial to societies?

In conjunction with rural-to-urban migration, population expansion raises density

and boosts urban agglomeration. And since big cities foster innovation and raise
economies of scale, this is crucial for attaining continuous growth.

Why are migrants mostly beneficial for receiving countries?

Although migration is a common aspect of social and economic life in many

nations, the makeup of migrant communities differs greatly. This is caused in
part by the diversity of migration sources. For instance, citizens have wide rights
to free movement throughout most of Europe. Managed labor migration is
significant in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. Family migration and
humanitarian immigration are further sources. Migration, regardless of where it
comes from, has a significant and sometimes contentious influence on our
societies. Migration's effects on the economy are not an exception.

Why is migrant integration a challenging issue for states?

Migrants sometimes struggle to integrate into their new communities, which

causes issues with peaceful coexistence, trade, cultural customs, religious views,
linguistic hurdles, agricultural practices, economic activity, social integration,
pastoralism, and other issues.
How do poor countries balance their need for development with the necessity to
protect in the environment?

All nations balance their requirements, similarly. You specify the requirements for
environmental protection and how to fulfill them. You choose the development
you require and carefully consider any potential environmental dangers or effects
that might occur from it. You pinpoint actions that will advance growth while
preserving the environment. (Clean water systems for industries, clean air systems
for transportation, clean water for drinking, sewage management systems for
toilets and grey water, etc. These need to be planned and built in conjunction with
development infrastructure because they are significantly more expensive and
challenging to retrofit, and because development that includes environmental
protection infrastructure is significantly more profitable and appealing for further
growth.

How do you define sustainable development?

The goal of sustainable development is to promote growth that meets the

requirements of the present without jeopardizing the supply of resources for
future generations. Sustainability focuses on the long-term preservation of energy
and resources rather than their constant consumption to meet immediate
requirements.
