This study aims to produce bioplastics from plantain banana peels to help reduce plastic waste. It would benefit the environment by lessening the burden on waste systems with biodegradable alternatives. The government would support more research through funding, enabling innovations. Citizens would be impacted by decreasing harm from plastic pollution. Other researchers would be motivated to study alternative plastics to replace single-use items causing pollution.

Significance of the Study
This experimental research study aims to utilize sweet
plantain banana (Musa Acuminata) peels for the production of bioplastics. This study is a potential way to reduce the increasing amount of non-biodegradable plastics worldwide. The results could be highly significant and beneficial specifically to the following:
To the environment. This study will help the environment to
lessen the burden on our existing waste systems in our community. Bioplastics are plant-based plastics that can decompose naturally that are less harmful and toxic which can provide the earth with life-promoting nutrients.
To the government. This study will be an encouragement for
the national and local government to support different researchers and this kind of studies. With the assistance of the government in terms of funding support, more innovations will be possible.
To the citizens. This study will undoubtedly have a significant
impact to all people. The rate of harm that plastic pollution causes will decrease as this research progresses.
To other researchers. This study will be a motivation for other
researchers to pursue conducting more study related with this topic. It will result for more innovations and other alternative ways in exchange for non-biodegradable plastics like single-use items that causes plastic pollution. PART B
