Hotel SOGO is a well-known motel in the Philippines with its branches across the country, a total of 48 branches from 33 in Metro Manila and 15 in Provincial place. It is under the ownership of Global Comfort Group Corporation or the GCGC, wherein it holds Icon Hotel and Eurotel Hotel in its management. Hotel SOGO was founded in 1992 with the built-idea by 2 individuals who wanted to give the public a satisfaction by having a better and more convenient low-cost lodging. Hotel SOGO provides a comfortable and relaxing stay with its fully air condition rooms which includes amenities such as free parking, free WIFI and a television. The hotel also features 24 hours service from the front desk, room service, as well as an on-site restaurant with its delightful varieties of food. Likewise, Hotel SOGO offers several promos and discounts especially with their guest who are frequent visitors. The hotel accepts reservation and walk-in guests which is perfect for people who are in a rush to find a place to stay. B. Target Market The target market of SOGO Hotel are couples, families, and travelers who seeks hotel that are affordable in which they can stay with just a short period of time. SOGO Hotel also provides themed-rooms where guests that wants different atmosphere according to their liking. This is perfect for couples that are in honeymoon who wants their experience to be memorable. Travelers including foreigners are also seen to be one of the frequent guests of SOGO Hotel because it is convenient with its fast check-in. According to a statistic survey that was conducted by Rappler, there are 10% to 20% non-Filipino guests in Hotel SOGO. Hotel SOGO is also attracting people that needs a place where they can prepare for an event to do their make-up and outfits such as Cosplay Events. Likewise, Hotel SOGO is perfect for those people who just came from a concert and can no longer find a transportation to travel back home or just too tired to be in a long ride. Hotel SOGO have numerous branches which is why it is deemed to be accessible wherever you are.

The mission of Hotel SOGO is, “To operate a growing chain of lodging facilities profitably throughout the country, exceeding the expectations and earning the loyalty of guess through excellent accommodations and superior service. And we do it as a TEAM.” On the other hand, the vision of Hotel SOGO is, “We lead and dominate the lodging industry in the Philippines.” E. Objectives and Goals The objective/s of Hotel SOGO is to satisfy the public's growing clamor for a better and more convenient low-cost lodging. In line with this, Hotel SOGO also aims four (4) major objectives to keep Hotel SOGO safe during the pandemic and these are the following: reduction of touch points, improvement of air quality, disinfection, and testing. The goal/s of Hotel SOGO is to have its commitment of providing guests with top- notch lodging facilities and services which anchor on the following values: Cleanliness, Innovation, Efficiency, Courtesy, Discipline, and Teamwork. Hotel SOGO also aims to have its presence in every city as it continuous to expand beyond Metro Manila as well as provincial places.
