STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

SANKE SAI TEJA

I, Sanke Sai Teja am writing this Statement of purpose to prove my candidature for the course
in Master’s in Business Analytics at University of New Haven. I am thankful for the opportunity
offered by the college to represent my candidature for education in your esteemed university.

Educational Background:

In reverse chronological order, I Graduated Electrical & Electronics Engineering from St.
Martin’s Engineering College with 55% in 2017. Intermediate education was from Sri Chaitanya
Jr College with 65% in 2013 and 10th Standard board examination of State secondary board was from
P.B. Dav Model School (2011) with 85% in the year 2011.

Professional Background:

After my Education I have worked as a Process Associate at Technoverge It Solutions from

June 2018 to October 2020. Here, I have effectively communicated information on products and
services within the specified time frames agreed upon. I have expressed trouble shoot issues with the
client, in a manner that is understandable by the end user or customer. Probe effectively & efficiently
to understand customers issue and report incident and resolve all issues received on phone. I had to
learn UML (Unified Modelling Language) for effective communication of functionalities and user
requirements to either party.

My current role is as an Associate Technical Support at Tech Mahindra Limited, Started

Nov 2020 – Present. Here, I have acted as the first point contact for customer issues. Monitoring and
tracking status of handled problems efficiently to ensure client satisfaction. Technical remote
troubleshooting of devices, checking and remote testing of line faults with the network provider. I
have also learned several Key business software like, JIRA for project management and Balsamiq for
preparation of mockups as a part of my work.

Reasons to choose master’s in business Analytics:

My previous work experience has given me a hands-on experience in a role that is closely
aligned with the Business information systems and business analysis methodologies. Well versed and
developed in-depth knowledge regarding requirement gathering, analysis, validation, and
prioritization. My previous freelance work as a document and content writer have honed my skills in
preparing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs). I have experience in creating training material
for each type of end user. Well-informed in User and Functional Requirement specifications (URS &
FRS) and Requirement Trace Matrices (RTM).

High quality education with a board monitoring the qualitative assurance of the course
structure has made USA gain a reputation for being most desired and Industry adaptive. Qualifications
from America are practical & modern and that is what makes them desired all over the world. That
was the reason for me to choose USA, a destination for higher education that can provide a world
class education in a safe, peaceful, multi-cultural environment.
 To succeed in this complex and competitive environment, business management has become
compulsory for the wellbeing of an organization. Industry oriented curriculum gives an opportunity to
have an in-depth study of the business world to learn their method of communications. In USA, there
is a long-established practice of standardization and dedication to quality. Most universities have
counselors and advisors to provide information and support to international students who can help you
to get used to the education system. Hence, I have chosen USA as my study destination to achieve my
career goals.

Management must recognize global events and their effect on businesses to thrive in this
market. Business Analytics is module which provides practical and relevant skills in leadership,
operations, marketing, and strategy development. I would like to learn about the Business
management Structures, Research methodologies; Business environment; Marketing. Operations
analytics is my favorite subject to study because it is applied to maximize the efficiency of the
organization. Being an international qualification, this course will boost me to step on to many career
opportunities after completion of my program. Moreover, this course will extend and magnify my
knowledge in the field of Analytics and Business management.

With the backing of a prestigious university like New Haven, along with excellent guidance
and support from your experienced and knowledgeable faculties will give me extra boost to enhance
my business skills. I eagerly look forward to joining your esteemed university. Given an opportunity,
I shall try to do the best that I can. I can assure you that I shall endeavor to be an asset to your
institution. These will help me to realize my academic and career goals.

My inherent ability to connect with people who are different in culture is a skill that I
have and interacting with diverse cultures is one of the main prospects in my course. While I was
searching for institutes where to find diverse cultures, I had to look no further than your university.
Getting the chance to study at your university will equip me with the knowledge and expertise to
excel in Master of Business Analytics.

Future Prospects:

I would love to find a job after my Course to apply my theoretical knowledge in a company to
hone my skills on business affairs. After completion of Visa in USA, I will come back to India and
Start a business related to my field of studies. I want to Open a business related to the marketing that
targets the people of multi-culture, since you know that India is a diverse country. This course will
help me to understand how the global economy works, but also help me to develop strategic plans for
international operations. My goal is to improve the performance of my business to compete in a
rapidly changing global marketplace. I am Confident that I will.
