Will the Minister of TOURISM be pleased to state:

(a) details of protected and unprotected monuments in the State of Andhra Pradesh,
District-wise;
(b) details of revenue earned through the above monuments during the last five years,
year-wise and monument-wise;
(c) amount spent on safety and security of above monuments during the last five years,
year-wise and monument-wise; and
(d) efforts being made to increase the earning of revenue from above monuments?

(a): List of 135 Centrally Protected Monuments in Andhra Pradesh is given at


Annexure-I.

(b): Details of revenue is given at Annexure-II.

(c): Amount spent on safety and security these monuments during the last five years
is given at Annexure- III.

(d): All efforts are being made to safeguard and conserve the monuments, which also
includes efforts to increase the revenue earned from the monuments.
