Executive Summary:
The creation and implementation of Operations and Training plan marks a new stage of the
Plant Pals project with its own set of goals and deliverables. It’ll create sustainable fulfillment
and delivery practices and is essential to successful launch of the service. There is a need to
create internal processes and training procedures for support teams, so they can meet the
demands of the Plant Pals service

Project Goal

SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound


● To build an Operations and Training plan for the new service, for creating
sustainable fulfillment and delivery practices for the service’s day-to-day
operations.
● It will be achieved by creating internal processes and training procedures by
setting up operational tools, putting delivery processes in place, and training
employees, within 6 months under a budget of $75,000.

Deliverables

1. Plant delivery and logistics plan to make the ordering process efficient, which
includes purchasing delivery trucks, hiring drivers, and calculating delivery
fees.
2. Selection, installation, and maintenance of order processing and Supply Chain
Management software to make revenue streams more efficient.
3. Build employee training program, consisting of communications plan, training
lessons.
4. Scheduling and conducting training sessions to train at least 90 % of
employees before official launch.

Why are we doing this?


● To help mitigate potential revenue losses due to late shipments and
cancellations by ensuring an efficient, high-quality customer experience.
● Customer satisfaction and retention over a longer period.
● Successful launch of the website.
● Supports the larger project goal of a 5% revenue increase for Office Green.

Measuring Success

What is acceptable:
1. Deliver 95% of orders on time within 1 month of launch.
2. Training of 90% of employees before the official service launch.
3. Create a communications plan, prepare training lessons, and schedule &
conduct training sessions.
4. All orders should be packaged and ready for shipment, within two business
days of being placed.
