Warning
1. Check the voltage marked on the nameplate before the power of the controller is on. There are two kinds
of products of this system as AC220V and AC110V. (Error in connecting the power supply may result in
product damage.)
2. The power cord of the controller shall be connected into the explosion-proof junction box or the
explosion-proof switch directly.
3. Do cut off power supply when installing and disassembling this system. (Installing or disassembling this
system in live working may result in electric shock, fire or product damage.)
Caution
1. Regularly check the fasten screw nails of the components such as remote head and video tube and etc
if they are flexible.
2. Do make sure the support is firmly installed and the fuse wire is installed when installing the remote
head and video tube. (Or will result in component damage or more serious accident.)

1. Summary
1.1 Feature
Zjyp-4-2DDriller’s CCTV system is a suit of unique-designed and novel well-drilling monitoring
equipment integrating the remote pan/tilt and camera lens control. The whole suit of the system has
explosion-proof function, considering the practicability, each of the camera unit is designed to use a special
integration cable and explosion-proof insert to connect the controller which is convenient to install and
disassemble, and stainless steel enclosure of the operation keyboard increases the overall strength and is
resistant to dirty and causticity with a beautiful appearance. In the display, besides LCD, it adopts the
casting aluminium explosion-proof enclosure which has reduced greatly the depth of the display and
decreased the installation space but improved the anti-shake function and intensity.
1.2 Use
The system specially engages in the real-time monitoring on the modern petroleum drilling engineering.
Driller may observe and monitor contemporarily the engineering situation including two-floor flat, winch,
back cars or sludge inlets and etc.

Pan/tilt a kind of explosion-proof device is the special equipment of bearing the water video camera to
do horizontal and up-and-down rotation with good shockproof function. The equipment installed in the

The controller adopts the casting-aluminum flameproof and explosion-proof enclosure (including
power supply, remote glass controller board and image splitter), which is usually the 8 route video signal
input.

3. Operation manual
3.1 Controller and wire connection panel （See Figure 1）

Controller is the key component of the monitoring system, with which all of the other components are
connected.
The controller connects the four video tubes by four integrated cables, when connecting them, put the
integrated cable pins to align with the socket, push hard the pins and screw the pin shell tightly in the
clockwise, then the pins are inserted into the socket and lock up them closely. When cutting off, contrarotate
the pin shell and pull at the proper location, then the pins are pulled out.
The pin socket of the display connects the same video tube.
When connecting the socket of the keyboard, first, rotate the pin to the proper location and insert the
socket, then screw the locknut of the pin in the clockwise. When cutting off, first unscrew the locknut of the
pin in the counter-clockwise and then pull out the pin.
3.2 Keyboard operation

The exterior of the keyboard is shown in figure 2 and the operation function is explained respectively as
follows:
Screen selection
The screen will continually display all nine screens, four screens (1~4), four screens (5~8)
and six screens（one large window with five small windows）when pressing this key.
The screen will display each single screen of the one，to eight camera when pressing this
key continually under all nine screens, four screens (1~8) condition. The lens and remote
head could be adjusted at this time.
The screen will display each single screen of the five, six, seven and eight camera when
pressing this key continually under all nine screens, four screens (8~1) condition. The lens
and remote head could be adjusted at this time.
Adjustment of the lens and pan/tilt

As shown in the figure 2, there are eight keys for adjusting the lens and pan/tilt
（1）Lens adjustment
a、 Zoom adjustment
Press the “WIDE” on the zoom adjustment key until the screen
is suitable if need to enlarge the video object and vice versa.

b. Focus adjustment
If need to adjust the far or blurred object, first adjust the

image to the minimum and press the “FAR” or “NEAR” key on the
focus adjustment panel until the image is clear and vice versa.
（2） Remote head adjustment
Use the group of keys to adjust the up and down, left and
right directions of the video camera to aim at the video object.
System reset
Please press this key when the controller shows error motion.
4、Common Failure Analysis

 if the display screen appears pure black, first check to display 13V switching
power supply control cabinet has no output. In addition, if the C9, C8 filter
capacitor burst, 2 capacitors (1000UF/35V) can be normal work. If the power
supply is normal and the AV panel is working properly, the LCD screen is
damaged.
 if the display appears black (liquid crystal however, appear bright micro) and
"check line signal words should check the monitor AV board (AV in red light is
bright) and provides 5V voltage to the AV board is normal (13 V input and 5V
output volts for AV power board).
 display screen no multi image segmentation, the display and display of AV
conversion in normal work, failure may chassis motherboard or DC5V/3.3V
switching power supply control, if the switch power supply is not DC5V/3.3V
output, replace the power supply can be. If the power supply is normal and the
connection is normal, the motherboard has a problem.
 a blue screen appears, first check the circuit video signal lines and exchanges
AC24V power supply line is normal to check camera tube switch power supply
board DC12V voltage has no output, if normal may is a camera fault.
 if the keyboard is not on the screen to switch and also can adjust the camera's
focus and zoom or pan tilt operation, check the camera tube decoder board
whether normal work, the camera tube switch power supply board has no output,
replace the decoding board and power supply board, can make.
 if the keyboard can not operate on all channels, first check the motherboard to
the keyboard line is normal (there is no short circuit or open circuit), and then
check the keyboard 5V power supply is normal. Sometimes a video camera in
the decoder board is bad also interfere with the operation of the keyboard, you
can disconnect the other channels, the first check whether a channel is normal.
 When One channel camera control, the control platform can rotate and loosen the
keyboard keys after PTZ is still turning, camera tube 485 Control Board has a
problem, instead.
