model best known for his roles of Nishant aka Liquid in Pyar Ka Punchnama , Narayan Sharma in
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha , Sundar Tripat hi in t he film Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Munna Bhaiya in
Amazon Prime Video series Mirzapur.

Personal life
Divyenndu was born on 19 June 1983 in Delhi. He is a graduat e in polit ical science from Delhi
Universit y's Kirori Mal College. He has t hree years of t heat re experience in Delhi aft er which he
pursued a t wo-year diploma in act ing from FTII, Pune. He was previously seen in a number of ads
for brands like Virgin Mobile, Birla Sun Life and Fidelit y Mut ual Funds.[3][1][4] He is married t o
Akanksha Sharma.[5]
In 2019, Divyenndu dropped his surname cit ing numerology and his belief t hat , in a count ry like
India, it 's import ant t o remove t he many cast e divisions. His official document s, however, use his
full name.[2]
Career
He first appeared in a sight role in Madhuri Dixit 's comeback movie Aaja Nachle. His debut
Bollywood movie was Pyar Ka Punchnama , where he played a charact er called Liquid.[6][7] For his
role in t he film, he won t he Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer – Male. He also played
t he role of t he poet Omi in David Dhawan's remake of Chashme Baddoor.[8]
