structures. Through these initiatives and more, the city hopes to become the benchmark for a
highly urban city that has optimized scarce resources to achieve eco-sustainability. Our main
focus is to give awareness to people that this kind of product existed and to appreciate our

people who want to actively help our environment. That’s why we chose this business because
the people who are behind this business support an eco-friendlier lifestyle. Once the business

We’ve decided to choose the B2C business to customer mainly because of how most

We chose to sell it directly from people to people, to keep it small and eco-friendly and at the
same time unique. Compared to plastic utensils, these alternatives are made of materials that are
compostable and biodegradable, so they are not as harmful to the environment. These are also
reusable and conveniently fold up when full so you can carry our travel utensils everywhere you
go. Though it might sound like an inconvenience to carry around your spoon and fork, there are
several benefits, aside from the fact that you will be able to help the environment. Perfect for
suitable travel use when you’re at school, work, and more. Hygienic and convenient to use and

Eco-Friendly Choice Utensils is located at Robertson Plaza, Centennial Rd, Kawit, and
the store will open from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. Our store is a commercial development along
Centennial Highway, Kawit, Cavite. in front of Ayala Land’s EVO City. We chose Robertson
Plaza because of its cheap rent since it is a new mall and a lot of people visits Robertson Plaza.
The picture below (google map satellite) was taken in 2017, which is Robertson Plaza was under
renovation at that time. Additionally, the place of the Eco-Friendly Choice Utensils shop will be
found on the next right side of I AM BELLA Aesthetic clinic 2nd floor in Robertson Plaza,
before you enter the shop you need to follow the guidelines of safety protocols, and you need to
register for the reservation of entering in the shop.
Management
Our business teams will follow the management team discussed below as business
owners. In this Eco-friendly choice of utensils product that who will be a responsible and
actively operation management duties early. Once the business will click, we will find the
responsive employee to sell the product.
ORGANIZATIONAL CHART
The initial management team consists of the following five (5) owners:
Marvic Aguilar would act as a General Manager she is experienced in being a
good leader in a team, and she is responsible for managing the business's overall
operations. She knows how to handle the Eco-friendly Choice Utensils business, and
she is the one who thinks the product of that will sell.
Wilson Gamas would act as an IT Executive Manager he will have expertise
regarding the technology he oversees in this position, and he will have a lot of
experience in executing the software to posting the product on social media.
Jen Pamela Domondon would act as an Operation Manager she will know how
to improve and strategies the process of the business and oversee the operational
management of the business.
Louielen Kyle Dedal would act as a Finance Manager she will overseas monitor
the income of the business product, and she will overseas produce the financial report
of every sale that the business has.
Katherine Bernal would act as a Marketing Manager she will overseas to
develop or improve the market strategies and plan of the business product, and to
attract the customer's expectation or satisfaction of the product.
Duties and Responsibilities
General Manager – responsible for improving efficiency and increasing departmental
profits while managing the business's overall operations. They oversee several elements in a
business, including hiring staff, operating budgets, and launching price promotions that could
attract more customers.
IT Executive Manager – responsibilities of IT execs vary based on the business for which
they work. However, several core duties overlap. Oversee Tech Departments, Strategize
Tech Improvements, Manage the IT Budget, Learn Business and Industry Trends, and
Develop Talent.
Operational Manager – oversee operational activities at every level of an organization. An
operations manager also strategizes process improvements to ensure everyone completes
their tasks on schedule.
Finance Manager – oversee the financial operations of an organization. They advise on
investment plans, monitor the business finances, and produce financial reports.
Marketing Manager – responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic
marketing plans for an entire organization (or lines of business and brands within an
organization) to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
Salary
As a start-up business, they will be balancing the amount of the salary on basing the income
of the sale of the product, and half of the income is to support the other producing the
products that will be published again. To buy any materials conducting the product of our
business. Also, to give our taxes in the governance.
Personnel
As we already have consisted of five (5) – owners in a team, we will add other parts
of the team once the business will be increasing and grow. Since we only have start-up
businesses without any form of hesitation duties and day by day accomplishing the task. The
part of the team decided to attain the task of our start-up business needs. As starters all of us
5 owners will work together on running the business. We will assign 2 of us to manage the
on site/physical store business focusing on same day production and pick up of low quantity
orders, 2 owners focusing on production of pouch sublimation specifically for bulk order
production that can take up to takes 3 days before shipping/pick up (50+ up orders), 1 owner
to manage e-commerce (shopee) transactions and overall business acumen reports.

market, strategies, goals, and the last is the marketing strategy of the business. The goal of the
business is to meet the satisfaction of every customer, to save mother earth, to be productive, and
to reach a potential market by increasing a product. For the business hooked on the goal; they

that our product will be packed in eco-friendly packing. A medium to bulk order may be
delivered free of cost. The customer will get the product with 15 days refund policy in case
the customer doesn’t like the product and also refund would be issued in case of a damaged
product is delivered.

Our customers will earn points on every purchase they do online or offline. This can
be done through a sign-up program. The customer will get the option to register for a reward
point program. The sign will also register them for a free newsletter on environmental issues

Apart from that, we will allow them to give a free set of utensils every end of the
month by sharing their experiences of shopping with us. They would be allotted a unique
number at the time of purchase, and they can use that number while sharing their view on
shopping our range of products

company has a plan to rope in a renowned influential Tiktoker or celebrity chef to start a
cookery show on YouTube. During this show, the chef will use our eco-friendly utensils while
cooking the food. This program would help our company to promote our product through an
influencer. The chef will promote our brand while cooking the recipes. This will surely impact
positively in promoting our product as people will see the product is getting used by a chef
who has achieved excellence in his career.
A great marketing strategy would be to reach out to bloggers with food as their domain
or to the people who can influence others with expertise in their respective fields. Social
media could be very helpful as food could be great content. Our company would be actively
participating on social media and would stay relevant and will engage with the people to turn
them into probable customers. Eventually, this will help us in shaping our target market.
Our company will use social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to
connect with our market by providing relevant and interactive content. The content may
contain images, videos, or chats.
Product testing - to assure the customers that the products are safe to use and have good
quality, we offer product testing to earn their trust and buy the product.

return or refund in case the product is damaged, however, if the reason is that they did not

call the Funkutlery Set. The kit includes 1 pouch, 1 spoon, 1 fork, 1 knife, 2 chopsticks, 1
bamboo straw, and 1 bamboo straw cleaner.
Sip PH - They sell a bamboo cutlery set called the b1t1 churro, which includes a 9-
inch-long reusable pouch, one bamboo spoon, and one bamboo fork. The price of this set is
Php 200.
Eco Shop PH - Their bamboo cutlery set costs PHP 115 and includes a fork, spoon,
knife, and two chopsticks. Their shop is unique in that it allows for customization. You only
need to pay the following extra fees: + PHP 30 for engraving and + PHP 50 for engraving
and printing on the pouch.
Shopee - On the website, you can find a variety of bamboo cutlery sets. One of the
most affordable ones we found from a trusted seller is Php 175. It includes one spoon, one
fork, and one drawer-style holder.

Brochure - aside from using social media and website, we will also create a brochure and
give them to people.
Financial Document
It is a very important thing for small business to know their financial needs. Because It’s a road
map, a guideline that can be a reminder of what our goals are especially what we are trying to achieve in
the short-term and the long-term. It shows out what our possible costs are, and it seeks to address avenues
for how we manage these costs. Having a financial plan helps us to manage our cash flow and help us to
measure our progress. We planned to create a fund for each member to help our business to reach its
initial costs, such as materials and equipment that we need. We plan to start a Bamboo cutlery business
and sell it online or in malls. Since we are still starting in a small business, each member needs to invest
coming from our personal savings/own investment of each owner or with the contribution of parents. The
general partners of the business that will invest are Marvic Aguilar, Wilson Gamas, Jen Pamela
Domondon, Kyle Dedal, and Katherine Bernal. The initial capital is amounting ₱ 750,000 that’s why each
partner will contribute ₱150,000 coming from our savings with a total of ₱50,000. The remaining
₱100,000 will be borrowed from each parent and/or bank loan an option for others. From the total of
₱750,000 as initial capital, we will keep its 5.6% or P42,200 amount that will be allotted for an
emergency fund or contingency fund.

**Raw material cost ₱75 and total expenses to create the product cost an estimated amount of
₱100 leading to a total of 175 costs per unit. Retail selling price will be ₱350 with a markup of
₱ 175 or 100% increase from the total cost of per unit
Forecasting we will sold a total of 350units per month; 125 units sold from physical store worth
P43,750 and the other 125 units sold from e-commerce worth P41,563. **With e-commerce % to sales,
the forecast sales of 125units from e-commerce worth P43,750 that should be same sales with physical
store will be reduced to P41,563 due to the 5% share of the e-commerce to our sales including other fees
needed. With his, forecasted monthly combined sales of P87,500 as we sold 350 units will be reduced to
P85,313 vs breakeven point of P85,089 leading a positive buffer of P224 before reaching BEP.
Below is the breakeven point with values of monthly expenses where considered and cost of
goods/material multiplied to 350 to cover the target units sold of 350 units considering the monthly
expense.
**For ROI and favorable sales performance, we need to sell more than 350 units of products per
month to exceed BEP.
