– Learn to write in crisp detail bringing out the richness of your experience and your key
expertise/skills

the name of the section
– All format and structure (section heading [Is it internship, SIP, CIP | PoR versus Leadership|
PoR being part of ECA], way company-designation- timelines are denoted and other such
things) related information is based on the resume format that has been shared or enforced
using a system
– Do not refer to this document for matters in the above bullet
section
· 3 short phrases (3-4 words per phrase) to bring out your USP. Limit total length to 1 line max
· NO BEHAVIORAL TRAITS: Don’t say hardworking, creative, friendly, team player etc

· Eg – ECE instead of Electronics & Communication Engineering or MESKK School, Mysore instead of
Mysore Education Society Kishore Kendra School, Mysore
· Consistency in number of digits after decimal point
Examples

· Don’t keep old tech certifications like Java etc. (Keep only relevant ones like SQL, R, Python, ITIL,
Scrum)
· Nothing too old. BEC certified in English in 2007 is not relevant
