User’s Guide
This document describes the functions of the Print Manager plug-in for Galaxie.
Overview
Print Manager plug-in enables the user, when it is used as a post-processing,
to combine printings and exports as PDF of the same chromatogram. Different
printers, report styles and output paths can be chosen in the same
configuration table.
The user can select the path, where the PDF export is going to be stored, via
the button or just enter manually a path. The path can be a local
path or defined on a network disk. This path if it is a valid one is saved and
automatically displayed at the next connection to this screen.
If the Open the PDF print report after creation box is checked, the PDF export
is automatically displayed at screen.
Then press the Next button and select the Print Manager plug-in in the
following screen:
Normal printings:
Select in the Style column one report style among all proposed ones. All the
report styles that are stored in the connected group directory or in some group
subdirectories are available. The total number of report styles found in the
connected group directory is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Select in the Copy num column the number of printings that should be done
with the selected report style.
PDF exports:
In order to configure PDF exports, select PDF Compatible printer driver in the
Printer column.
Select in the Style column one report style among all proposed ones. All the
report styles that are stored in the connected group directory or in some group
subdirectories are available. The total number of report styles found in the
connected group directory is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
The corresponding Copy num cell is grayed as only one single PDF export can
be done.
Select in the Output path column the path where the PDF export is going to be
stored via the button or just enter it manually.
Some lines can be removed from the configuration table thanks to the
button.
The last action done can be cancelled via the button and the
previous parameters are retrieved. The following message is displayed at that
time:
It is possible to verify that the defined report styles, printers and output paths
really exist by pressing the button. If it is the case, the following
message is displayed:
If one parameter is not a valid one, the following message can be displayed:
If the Open PDF print reports after creation box is ticked, the created PDF
exports are automatically displayed at screen at their creation.
