Supply Installation, testing, commissioning, and operation of main distribution metallic boards in the LT
Room, anti-corrosion type, made of totally enclosed dust and vermin protected, factory fabricated heavy
gauge sheet steel enclosure, thermally painted, with good locking doors, weatherproof, form 2b, with 10 to
20cm bottom base IP53 for components, with internal protection metal door easy to open, including metering
gauges (volt, Ampere, frequency), phase indication lamps and selector switches, lugs, cable glands, and all
requirements according to technical specification and instructions of Supervisor Engineer, the distribution
panels shall comply completely with specifications specified in section 16400 and all related clauses and
subclauses.
The prices of the DBs locating in the LT Room shall include cable trenches and checkered plates not less than
4mm thickness reinforced by angle irons (the Trenches shall be as per attached drawings), steel structures,
ladders, brackets with all requirements, accessories, necessary connections, cutting drilling, painting,..etc...
and any other to complete the work as required with engineer instructions. Refer to the attached Drawings
and specifications,
The major components of each panels are specified below any other requirement for the panels not
specifically specified which is required for the panel operation shall be provided.

protection against dust and corrosion, capacitors, MCCBs, measurement instruments, contactors,

Set
indication lamps, auto/Manual switching devices, etc..., to control the power factor between (0.92-
0.95) lagging, appropriate built-in filters, with all necessary accessories and any other requirements to
complete the system as per drawing and applicable standards.

MCC: TECHNICAL SPECS SECTION 16400 DRAWING E9006A-E9006B

Supply, install, test and commission Motor control center (MCC) wall mounted with base support (from
-2 b type tested) including all necessary wires, circuit breakers, appropriate starting device, yearly
programmable timers, contractors, overload and under voltage relays, all accessories and with not less
than two auxiliary contacts (1 NO & 1 NC) for main breaker within weatherproof insulated enclosure.

- all control panels for the operation of mechanical equipment shall be supplied by the mechanical
equipment supplier.
- all starting devices, contractors, timers, overload...etc., shall be provided as per equipment
manufacturer recommendations without any extra cost.

with the technical specification. The board contains one 3P main MCB incomer and outgoings various
sizes of 3P and 1P MCBs, non-used MCBs shall be provided and remain as spare
