Context/Significance/Purpose of the course: The Course is designed to enhance the ability of
communication skills of the students so as perform better in Business Environment.
Reasons for introduction of course: Communication is an integral part of any business activity. The
ever-growing importance of the same led to introduction of this course.
Pre-requisites: -
1. NIL
Course Outcomes (COs)/Learning Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, the learner
will be able to -
CO 1 Illustrate principles of business communication in all situations.
CO 2 Integrate business communication with effective report writing skills
CO 3 Analyse all facets of communication, for effective performance
CO 4 Apply principles of verbal and non-verbal business communication to solve managerial
problems

Assessment Scheme (Batch 2022-24):


It is divided into two parts, Internal and External Evaluation
A. Internal Evaluation: This has Class Continuous Assessment (CCA) having four components for
50 marks.
