Recommended materials and tools:
1. Half of a yarn ball beige color Jeans by YarnArt code 05.
2. Half of a yarn ball green color Jeans by YarnArt code 52.
3. Half of a yarn ball red color Jeans by YarnArt code 26.
4. Half of a yarn ball white color Jeans by YarnArt code 62.
5. Some brown color Jeans by YarnArt code 40.
6. Some yellow yarn color Jeans by YarnArt code 35.
7. Some sand yarn color Jeans by YarnArt code 07.
8. Toy eyes d.12mm and 6 mm.
9. Thin black thread to decorate the head.
10. 3 red buttons (d. 6mm) and 2 more buttons (d.15mm).

12. Crochet hook size 2.25mm “Clover” (or a normal hook 2.00 mm).
13. Soft pastel to tint the cheeks.

Abbreviations (US crochet terms):
MR – magic ring

Bobble – crochet 3 hdc into one stitch and close them together.
Crochet the head:
Crochet from top to bottom, work in beige yarn code 05.
Stitch marker goes through the middle of back part of the head.

Crochet the pompom:
Work in white yarn color.

7. 6 dec, make decreases to close the
opening.
Sew the pompom on the tip of the head.
Details:
If you glue the eyes, place pins in the 15th round, then step 2 stitches up with the
distance 10 stitches between the eyes.
It is time to do sculpting.
SCULPTING VIDEO (just click the word “video”).
Glue the eyes when sculpting is done.
If you use safety eyes, you have already installed them in the 14 th round, do
sculpting around the eyes.
Now embroider white lines around the eyes and black lines to make the eyes more
expressive.

Step 2 stitches up from the eyes and embroider the eyebrows grabbing 4 stitches.
The distance between the eyebrows is about 8 or 9 stitches.
Embroider the nose on the 15-16th rounds grabbing 5 or 6 stitches, make stitches
back and forth about 5 times.
Add rosy cheeks and freckles (I use a fabric marker to draw them).
Crochet the arms:
Start working in beige yarn color.

Insert hook from top to bottom.
Start working in brown yarn color.
Crochet the legs:
Stitch marker should go through the middle of back part of the leg, if you notice that
stitch marker shifts to the sides, adjust its location.
1. ch10, crochet from the 2nd stitch from hook: inc, 7 sc, 3 sc into 1 stitch, continue into
the unused loops on the opposite side of the chain: 7 sc, inc (21)
2. inc, 8 sc, 3 inc, 7 sc, 2 inc (27)

Crochet the body:
Step 5 sc counterclockwise from stitch marker on back part the 1 st leg and
place additional stitch marker.
Crochet 6 more sc from stitch marker on back part of the 2 nd leg and make ch9
from this place, crochet sl st to connect the first leg in the place where
additional marker is located.
Change the yarn to red color and a new round starts here now.
Crochet 48 sc in the round: 15 sc on the leg, 9 sc along the chain, 15 sc on the
leg and 9 sc along the chain.

to make the tummy.

Collar
Crochet in red yarn color, insert hook from top to bottom.
Start working from the middle of front part.
(ch3, 2 tr) into 1 stitch, tr , 2 dc, 2 hdc , 8 sc, 2 hdc , 2 dc, tr , 2 tr into 1
stitch and ch3 into the same stitch, sl st.
Sew the collar in the round.

Sew 3 small red buttons on the body as pictured.


Crochet the buckle:
Work in yellow yarn color.
Make ch16, crochet from the 2nd stitch from hook: 3 sc, 3 sc into 1 stitch, 3 sc,
3 sc into 1 stitch, 3 sc, 3 sc into 1 stitch, 3 sc .
As a result you made a square.
Sew as pictured.
Crochet decoration for the boots:
Work in brown yarn color (make 2).
Make ch23 and from the 2nd stitch from skip ch8 (a button loop), now
crochet 15 sc.
Sew as pictured, make sure that the size of the button suits for the loop
you made.
Sew the head on
the body.
Crochet the reindeer:
Crochet from top to bottom.

stitch from hook, now
continue working 2sc
along the previous ch.
Ears
Attach sand yarn color to
the 6th round.
Make ch6 and crochet
from the 2nd stitch from
hook: sl st, sc, hdc , 2 dc,
sl st into last stitch.
Arms:
Make ch13 and from the 2nd stitch from hook crochet 12 sc and sl st into the
stitch where you started, make a knot on the tip of the arm as pictured.
Legs:
Make ch17 and from the 2nd stitch from
hook crochet 17 sc and sl st into the
stitch where you started, make a knot on
the tip of the leg, as pictured.

Scarf:
Work in red yarn color.
Make ch 55 and crochet 54 sc from the
2nd stitch from hook.
Tie the scarf on the deer’s neck.
Details:
Install the eyes in the 7th or the 8th round with the distance 3 or 4 stitches
between the eyes.
Embroider brown nose on the 8th round, grabbing 2 stitches.
Embroider a line down from the nose.
Embroider white and black lines (as pictured) to make the eyes more
expressive.
Step 2 stitches up from the eyes and embroider the eyebrows, grabbing 2
or 3 stitches with the distance 5 or 6 stitches between the eyebrows.

Add rosy cheeks.

Embroider a brown cross on the 19th round, as pictured.
