It is strongly recommended that you purchase your own copy of the core texts listed
below. You will also receive pre- and post-session readings and tasks and your
tutors will share core articles, videos, materials, links, etc. intended to support your
learning during the period of the course. You are also urged to access other
resources (ELT magazines, journals and books) from the University of Sheffield’s
library – see the link under the Useful Information Tab, ‘Accessing StarPlus’. It is
very important that you read extensively and draw on your previous knowledge and
experience throughout the course.
