1. All Electrical equipment is to be inspected to


ensure it is free from any rain or wind damage
and is safe to use (earthing/cables/DB’s/power
tools etc.).
2. Is there any flooding on the site which may
impact the safety of workers (close to electrical
equipment/excavations/slippery surfaces etc.)?
3. All fences and hoardings to be inspected to
ensure they are free of damage and structurally
stable
4. Ensure all site signage is secure and free from
damage (to include any tower-crane signage,
project notice boards etc.)
5. Ensure all roadside barriers /delineators are
secured and have not been blown onto adjacent
roads/paths
6. Check all tarpaulins, plastic sheeting is re-fitted
and not causing obstructions on site or on
adjacent roads/paths
7. Inspect all edge protection/barriers to ensure
they are all still firmly in place and structurally
stable
8. Inspect all storage/lay down areas to ensure
materials have not been disturbed and do not
present a risk to workers/staff
9. All scaffolding structures to be inspected by a
competent person and marked with scaff-tag or
similar prior to being used again
10. Welfare, car parks and buildings to be inspected
and any loose or potentially unsafe items to be
fixed/removed
11. All piling rigs with associated mats, cranes and
placing booms to be inspected to ensure their
stability following high winds/heavy rain
12. All Temporary Works (scaffolds, falsework,
formwork, shoring, sheet piling etc) to be
inspected by the Temp Works Supervisor before
re-use?
13. Inspect all excavations to ensure structural
stability, safe access/egress routes and free
from flooding
14. Is there any damage to other plant and
equipment on site?
