The document describes the ideal classroom layout designed by the author. It would have students sitting together at desks facing the whiteboard, with the teacher's desk in the corner to view the entire class. There would be a large window on one blue wall to provide natural lighting. Computers would be situated in front of the window, and additional storage spaces, bookshelves, and a sink would be on the opposite wall. The back of the classroom would serve as a library area with bean bags, books, and a table for reading time.

I kept the classroom very simple. Students will be sitting together at their desks because it

is important to allow the students to interact with one another. The teacher's desk is placed at an

angle in the corner of the class far enough from the students but allows me a view of the entire

class. Behind the teacher, the desk is the whiteboard and the student's desks are centered on the

board because that's where the students will be focused the most during lecture time.

The blue wall has a big window. Most classrooms don't have windows, but in my ideal

classroom, I would have the biggest one. Natural lighting is the most comfortable lighting, so

much better than artificial classroom ones. The computers will sit in front of the windows that

way the sun doesn't glare on the screens. I would want at least half a classroom's worth of
computers so kids can rotate using the computers. The wall opposite the blue wall is utilized

mostly for storage space. Most elementary schools have sinks with cabinet space in the rooms so

I added those. I added additional bookshelves and storage space as well. I made those transparent

in the diagram so that it didn't block what was in front of it.

The back side of the classroom is the library of the class. Bean bags for an alternative

seating option and for comfort. I'm a nerd when it comes to fantasy books so that section would

be full of nerdy Lord of the rings, Percy Jackson, and Harry Potter nick-nacks. The table in the

back corner is for reading time. As a kid, all my classes had a table in the back of the room

designated for reading in groups, so of course, I had to add one as well.
