The Sangguniang passed Resolution No. 2022-014 authorizing the Barangay Treasurer to release the mid-year bonus of PHP 88,062.70 to Barangay officials. The bonus is in accordance with the Salary Standardization Law of 2019 and entitles those who served at least 4 months to a bonus of one month's basic salary by May 15th each year.

    A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BARANGAY TREASURER TO RELEASE THE MID-


    YEAR BONUS FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2022 AMOUNTING EIGHTY EIGHT THOUSAND
    SIXTY TWO PESOS & 70/100 ONLY (PHP 88,062.70) OF BARANGAY OFFICIALS OF
    BARANGAY LUMBIA, ESTANCIA, ILOILO.

    WHEREAS, Pursuant to RA No. 114661, otherwise known as the "Salary Standardization Law
    of 2019.' modifies the Salary Schedule for Civilian Personnel and authorizes the grant of
    additional benefits;

    WHEREAS, Local Budget Circular No. 121 Dated January 24, 2020, Implementation of the
    First Tranche of the Modified Salary Schedule for Local Government Personnel Pursuant to
    Republic Act (RA) No.11466;

    WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 10 of Department of Budget and Management Local Budget


    Circular No. 121 Dated January 24, 2020, As part of the Incentives under the TCF, the Mid-
    Year Bonus equivalent to one (1) month basic salary as of May 15 of a given year shall be
    granted to those who have rendered at least four (4) months of satisfactory service and are still in
    the service as of same date, to be given not earlier than May 15 of every year, subject to the rules
    and regulations provided under BC No. 201728 dated May 8, 2017;

    NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Honorable Jerson L. Sobrevega duly seconded by


    Honorable Marilou P. Castillo be it.

    RESOLVED, AS IT IS HERBEY RESOLVED, authorizing the Barangay Treasurer to release the


    Midyear Bonus for C.Y 2022, amounting Eighty eight thousand sixty two Pesos & 70/100 only
    (Php88,062.70) of Barangay Officials, of Barangay Lumbia, Estancia, Iloilo.

    RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnished copies of this resolution to the Barangay Treasurer and to all
    agencies concerned for their information and appropriate action.
